It's a functional ice rink, but nothing beyond. The new rink in Hailey really shows this places age. The lighting is poor, it's cold, and everything has an aged feel to it. That said, it's the only option for skating and hockey from late spring to early fall when Hailey ice is shut down, so it's good to have it available. -1 star for sun valleys super poor planning during the symphony where they force rink patrons to park half a mile away usually at the far end of an open field so sun valley elites can use the ice rink lot and don't have to walk far to the pavilion. Sometimes they fail to guard it so I sneak into the lot anyway.

The Sun Valley indoor rink is a good rink. Compared to other SV venues, it has been completely neglected. This aside, it is open all year. Bring lots of blankets and clothes. It's cold!
