NSD is truly the best studio, they have been teaching our daughters for 8 years, however, they get so much more than dance. They have become family and truly care for each individual. These dancers show sportsmanship, learn accountability, and have and become mentors for one another!

I began dancing at Nielsen's at the age of 2.5. This is a top-notch studio run by an amazing family!!! They are a HUGE part of the reason I fell in love with dance and now run my own studio. Their drop-and-go policy is not uncommon and, in fact, one that I promote in my studio as well. This does create independent dancers and minimizes distractions. I also know that Nielsen's has an upstairs observation room with a nice big window - I used to quietly watch the class before mine from this space if I arrived too early. With all the great dance memories this studio family created for me, I wish I could give them 10 stars!

Nielsen School of Dance isn’t a place I would recommend sending your child to. They are all about the money they can make off of you. We had a rough year and had to pull my daughter out of dance due to not being able to afford their monthly fee anymore. They didn’t care about the situation or my daughter they were just worried about when they could get the money.

Love this studio! Choreography and costumes are age appropriate and adorable. They push the girls so they are good but we have a ton of fun as well. My daughter loves dancing here!

We have been part of the studio for 2 years now and our daughter loves it. She has so much fun with the teachers and older dancers who help with classes. She looks forward to going every time and is bummed when she has to miss. Their costumes are appropriate and modest along with their dances and song choices. Highly recommend them!

My Daughter has been dancing with this studio for 2 years and we absolutely love it! They treat all the girls like family and the team works so hard to make sure every dance is unique! I would highly recommend them if you have a son or daughter wanting a future in dance!

I’ve been involved with this studio since its beginning. I took dance there, my kids did, and my grandchildren have. Love this family! They are not only great choreographers, but wonderful people. They love the kids just like family. Highly recommend them!!

Great studio with wonderful and caring staff. It seems the few 1 stars reviews are from the same family who were upset they couldn't stay to watch. That's the standard in almost every dance studio. Slamming a business because you didn't get your way is just childish. Unless it is observation week, you drop your child off for class and pick them back up. It teaches independence and let's them focus. I danced for 20 years and now my children do- when parents stay in the room, the kids do not pay attention as they do when parents are gone.Their focus is not on the teacher, it is on their adult that they are now looking for approval from. I don't know any studio that does that. You don't stay for their preschool or 5k, why would this classroom be any different? This studio is consistent with their rules and as someone who has watched other studios be wishy washy on their standards, I very much appreciate a no-nonsense business that doesn't cater to someone just because they don't like your policy. Keep your standards- Always!
