Pretty cool place! Facilities need updating and smells like sewage, and the AC was pretty crappy but the history is so neat! The tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. Would recommend.

We saw the sign and turned in. No tickets needed. The traditional tour takes 45 minutes, but I asked the guide and he said he could trim it down. He said if we could resist asking lots of questions he could probably get it down to 25 minutes.
.. I wish we had had more time because it was so interesting! Great history lesson!

Super cool place to visit! We opted for the self guided tour, which was really well done. We just grabbed a pamphlet and followed the directions and read the excerpts contained within. It was fascinating to learn more about nuclear power and how nuclear reactors work.

Interesting piece of history that is definitely worth the visit. You could pretty much explore and touch everything in the building and that was awesome for our little kid. Kind of wish we would have done the guided tour, he had so many questions.

Such an important piece of history in clean energy! A great museum thoughtfully converted from being a functioning nuclear reactor to a place where you can learn and explore. They offer guided tours but it's also nice to wander and look at the displays on your own. Free admission and getting to stand on top of a nuclear reactor A must-see.

So glad that we stopped at this informative and educational historical site. It is the world's first nuclear power plant. Now decommissioned but fully restored as an educational museum. There was a guided tour and it too was excellent. Learned so many things on the tour and the site. Highly recommended for adults and kids alike. This is definitely a must see. There is no cost for admission.
