Suzanne’s program is one of the most thorough and grounded herbalism programs out there. She has years of year life experience that she bring to teaching that really bring tangible application to the plants. She knows the science and she also understands the respect and reverence for the incredible plants she teaches about. I studied with Suzanne in 2010… and 14 years later I was back for more! As I learn and grow, so does she! She is a true folk herbalist, but with a backing in hard science and deep botanical knowledge and love, you know she IS the real deal. A true wisdom keeper of herbal medicine. What a great experience taking the apprenticeship program! So informative, thorough and extremely hands on! I wish I could give more than 5 stars to Cedar Mountain Herb School! I studied wildcrafting with CMHS for 2 years and can honestly say they were some of the most pivotal years of my life. Not only did I receive a robust herbal education - but I also was encouraged to develop a deep relationship with the wild plants that grow around me. I also gained a community of local herbalists who I still gather with to wildcraft. CMHS offered me a solid foundation of herbal education that has inspired me in my self care, my gardening, my art, and my own personal wellbeing. I am so incredibly grateful for Suzanne and Heather's depth of knowledge and experience that I was able to tap into during my time studying with CMHS. They both will forever be teachers I am inspired by and will keep in touch with. If you are looking for herbal education, hands-on learning, and community - then this is exactly the right place!
