Pathetic service. I applied for a course by course evaluation with WES based on the good reviews back in July 2024. Their account page showed 7 days for completion once they receive the documents. Once I submitted the fee, they gave an option to process the documents through their recommended agency in my country of Education. I selected that and had to pay an additional $80 to get the documents processed through them.
Also, I called and explained that I had a job offer in hand and wanted the evaluation at the earliest. They updated my shipping method and charged extra $22 for the same.
After this once WES got the documents and they acknowledged, they said they received but have not accepted the documents and are pending review(after their recommended agency sent the documents directly to them). They kept this status for almost a month. After waiting on phone for hours on multiple calls, there was no empathy shown by their customer support. They don't have any option to expedite or speed up the process. Neither they can cancel the order after they get the documents irrespective of delays on their end.
I had to request a rush evaluation from another agency in parallel (which was completed and I got the evaluation within a week) to keep the job offer from being cancelled.
Finally WES updated on their website that the documents were accepted and the evaluation would be completed by mid of september. However, we are in October now and the website still shows in progress. I called their customer care and got the same response, that we are escalating your case.
Please stay away as you are wasting your money and probably a job offer or college admission.

Worst service. Don’t fall on their trap. They claim that they will evaluate within 9 business days but usually they will take more than 2 month. Also worst part is they will never reply to your queries sent from official sites and if we contact their customer care, their representative doesn’t have any idea about whats going around. Possibly they must be some third party working for them. I am in the verge to loose my admission and funding because of them. I will highly advice you all to go with other options and try to avoid WES as much as possible.

WES came with good reviews but unfortunately my experience has been awful. It’s been over a month since they received all my transcripts and almost a month since they updated the status of my file to “in progress.” The estimated delivery time was 3-5 business days. I understand they’re having hardware issues - if they were honest with me about those issues before they took my money this would a different story.
I need these credits converted for a job application and it’s past the deadline. I’ve been calling them every week and they always say the same thing. “We’re working on it, call back on Friday if it’s not ready.” It’s been the same answer every week for a month.
If you need your credits converted before next Christmas, go elsewhere.

EDIT* After 6 months I have received my evaluation. Just out of curiosity I checked their website and there is still not disclaimer warning of the severe backlog. They are welcoming new clients as if it's business as usual. The only disclaimer blames the courier. The couriers are not the problem. For shame.

I applied for a course-by-course evaluation with WES and on my profile with them, it says completed but I never got any of my documents. I reached out to them and they agreed to resend it if I covered shipping. So I paid another fee for shipping within 3-5 business days with tracking but it's been almost 3 months and I have not received anything, not even a tracking number. Everytime I submit a ticket, they close it without resolution and it's just week after week of back and forth with no resolution.

Update: I just filed complaint in BBB and Federal Trade commission for their lack of transparency, unprofessionalism, lack of communication and empathy.

I am a current applicant for WES. My course-by-course evaluation is experiencing a significant delay now. I was promised a delivery date of today (9/4), but I am still waiting to receive the update that the report is done. This delay is causing me to miss important deadlines for my master's degree applications. Despite my repeated attempts to contact customer service, I have not been able to reach them. I feel hopeless and desperate and considering filing a complaint with US department of education.

Absolute fraudulent business practices by World Education Services.

Unfortunately, I have been waiting for months for an evaluation required to enroll in college. This delay was not communicated before I paid and submitted my documents, and now my life is on hold due to their inability to provide professional support. I submitted my documents in early July and there has been no updates or progress since.

This complaint is about their undisclosed backlog problem that they are clearly unable to handle. Taking money from people and then not providing any service for months is unacceptable and needs to be addressed. I understand that my personal case may not be resolved by this review, but I people will see this and take their time and money elsewhere.

The most horrible service provider one can ever experience during one's lifetime! It has been more than 31 business days since I placed my order. One refers to such an institute for employment or study purposes. While there is no contact point to know about the process of your application, there is a long wait to connect to customer service, and even after you have the chance to talk to them, they usually hang up on you.
I had one good experience with them last summer, but it has been stressful, and I have had no results this year.
Don't work with WES because they don't care about you, your time, or your money.

The company promises that clients' evaluations will be ready in 7 business days, depending on the day their documents have been delivered and approved.

Here I am, waiting almost 40 business days with no sign of my evaluation.

It's not just me. There are hundreds of us in the same boat. Check any social media platform, and you'll see the comments section flooded with similar stories.

People are losing job prospects, immigration opportunities, and spots in university programs while WES continues publishing posts containing reviews from grateful clients.

WES is a disgrace.
