Me and my friends where there for a few hours and we went into the pool area and went into the to sauna to take a break and sit down and then a bald guy came in and said that we had to leave the pool area because we were under age when we were not under age and the bald guy was being very rude and so we left and I would not go to this ymca if there is a different one I would go to that one because they are very mean and now me and my friends have to find a new place to hang out and it is hard to find a good place to hang out here I wish the staff were nice and friendly but I guess we can’t have good people in this world and me and my friends go to this ymca a lot

Very clean and helpful, appreciated. While I'm not a YMCA member I nevertheless am respectful for their kindness shown to me. You see, after traveling back from being served at a VA Hospital I was waiting for my new apartment to be readied, sleeping in my vehicle all the while (not so easy in the heat of summer). This Y allowed me to shower and get clean one morning, and at the time it was sorely needed as well as greatly appreciated. Thank you Scottsbluff YMCA. Your kindness to this veteran will be remembered. You really made a difference.

Adults can't ever enjoy the big pool because of all the kids running around, screaming, and splashing, the lifeguards let them act however. We can't even enjoy the therapy pool anymore, as they let kids use it too (and it's supposed to be for adults only). They need a specific time for adults ONLY to use the pool, and not just lap swim. They could do a way better job cleaning the locker rooms too, they were kind of gross.

Me and my friends came here to lift some weights and swim for a few hours which were fun but the employees were saying that we can’t do as much weight as we were doing when we’ve been lifting for a few months which I get because our age but we were above the age limit to lift weights and the life guard was being rude to us because we didn’t know they didn’t have a certain type of goggles. Overall great place but rude employees.

This facility is essentially a daycare. There are unruly children running everywhere and the general uncleanliness of the facility should be addressed. The locker room always has stuff on the floor and inside the lockers are very dusty and dirty. The circuit room is not very clean and I rarely see fellow members wiping equipment down and have never once seen staff wiping down anything. Add in members who bring their own boom box with no regard for others and you've got a real 1-star gem here. But alas what other options are there. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I have been a member of many local gyms. I recently joined the YMCA so that my teenagers could also have a gym membership, and the price for a family membership here is excellent.
I love the variety of weight machines offered, however, I am very disappointed in how unclean and unkept the machines are compared to the other gyms in town. The only parts that are cleaned regularly, are the parts the members themselves wipe down, but all other parts of the machines are filthy. Several of the machines (stair stepper doesn't stop and keeps moving when stop is pushed, bike seat loose on bike making it unusable) are unsafe due to lack of maintenance. I also feel that the moisture from the swimming pool is detrimental to the machines which would require them to be cleaned regularly to prevent rust and add to their longevity.
I really hope the YMCA would consider requiring staff, hiring a cleaning service or our local job shadow/work programs to resolve this issue.

I enjoy going to the YMCA a lot of mornings to go swimming. It's not crowded in the mornings and it just feels wonderful! They do have a large workout room but swimming is my go-to so if it's yours come swim in the mornings from 5:00 to 8:00am

the facilities were wonderful for our family reunion. We each had very clean and adequate sleeping arrangements; and we had use of the large Hall for our meetings. Our contact person, Trevor took care of all of our needs very well. Great facilities and the surrounding area.
