My experience at the prairie club was exceptional. My dad took my son and I here for his graduation present and it was a memory we will all cherish forever. The course was in exceptional condition and a fun challenge. The lodging at the club was excellent and the food was delicious. This is a place where everyone is friendly. The staff is great about making the stay wonderful. Always asking how the accommodations are at the lodge. What struck me the most was how the club employees and management(Mandi) knew the club members personally. They knew about the golf members families and asked how they were doing. They also shared with the club members how their own families were doing. The manager of the pro shop knew the members by first name when they walked in. I could go on and on. Do yourself a favor, go to the prairie club and build great memories with your friends and families. The golf is amazing and your interactions with the club and staff will leave you with memories of a lifetime just as it did for my son and I.

Golf
The range and putting areas were very nice. As far as the courses go, I thought the Pines course was excellent but the Dunes fell short for me. The Pines was scenic, playable, and challenging at the same time. The Dunes greens and chipping areas did not play well and depending on skill level, I could see the course playing very long for some people. Sand Hills, Dismal, Landmand and Wild Horse are similar style courses that are better than the Dunes in my opinion. More importantly, the pace of play was disappointing and was a damper on our experience. We played four rounds over two days and waited 5-10 minutes on most shots during three of the four rounds. I would expect that at a packed local public course, but not at a place like Prairie Club.

Accommodations
We stayed in the lodge and the lodge was well kept and had nice accommodations. Another negative however was there was there was not hot water in the mornings which was disappointing.

Food
The food at the turn houses and dinner was good. There were plenty of options and it all good was cooked well and tasted good. Breakfast was pretty standard fare that you'd get at most hotels, nothing fancy, but did the job.

General Service
We found the service good. Employees were helpful, friendly, and responsive.

First time. Staff was over the top there to serve. Both golf courses were amazing. I especially enjoyed the Dunes course. It was the most unique and challenging course I have played.

Being in a remote location can be a disadvantage, or an adventage! The Prairie Club turns it's remote location into a huge advantage. Beautiful geography in the Sandhills create the canvas for two extraordinary golf courses, the lodging options and food services are complimented by extraordinary down

Fantastic, unique golfing experience. The two courses (Pines and Dunes) are very different and incredible in their own way. This is a must stop for any golfer that is playing in Nebraska, with supremely friendly and helpful staff, great food and top tier accommodations. If you like links courses the Dunes offers panoramic open sand hills spaces with challenges for all levels from the different tees, allowing for correctly corresponding yardages yet still having enough blowouts and waste area hazards that it is never a give me par. The Pines is beautifully carved around the river canyon with majestic pines and some pinched fairways that are still accessible.
Both courses have wonderfully manicured and undulating greens that will impress.

Hands down best golfing experience of my life. The course was challenging and kept up beautifully. A midway house can keep you going with snacks and drinks on either side of the 36 hole facility. The pines or dunes experience will keep you mesmerized by either a rolling hills background or rock and tree scape that makes you feel like your deep in the Colorado Rockies. Pro staff and restaurant staff are all extremely pleasant, helpful and professional. The rooms were rich in color and quality. I can’t wait to go back some time soon.

Fantastic experience, everything you'd expect for the price. Dunes was my favorite, and Pines offers a very different experience, both amazing and will compete with any top tier course in the country.

Interested in a true golf getaway? This is the place to play. The Prairie Club is unbelievable. Two great courses, the Dunes and the Pines, along with a 9 hole short course with no routing, you make up the holes as you go. It's a great way to settle anything that wasn't settled on the course.

All of the food we had was excellent. Lunch or dinner, they have you covered. I personally recommend the filet, but to each their own.

Sitting around the firepit at night sipping your favorite beverage, while reliving the shots you made and ones you didn't is a great way to round out each day.

Do yourself a favor and plan a trip to the Prairie Club!
