Evette, cops surrounding the establishment, and various other employees who assisted every single one of us citizens in line were absolutely respectful and made the completion of my to do list easier to accomplish.

Yesterday was my first visit to complete a very crucial assessment. As a tip, if you have an appointment for any type of assessment that is too far out, you have the privilege once a week on Tuesdays to show up for a walk in appointment. Get there (parked, and standing in line/in front of the entrance) before 8AM to increase your chances of being able to complete your requests, as there are many other law abiding citizens who also require assistance from TCCES.

That’s exactly what I did yesterday, March 5th, and this establishment represented every bit of professionalism combined with genuine courtesy during the 3 hours I was there present at the esteemed establishment.

Not only thank you, but God bless you TCCES. Let’s have an amazing 2024.

I am very disappointed that my husband has called this place to register for classes and the lady on the phone Diana Basurto was so rude. She sounded very annoyed and told my husband that it was already time for her to go home and for him to call back on Monday and my husband said but you don’t close til 5pm and it’s 4:30pm she then said fine hurry up and give me your name and address and I’ll send you a link so you can do the rest online. So when we get the link to the class he is waiting for the instructor and she finally comes on to do sound and video check and something wasn’t working and she told my husband to adjust the video because it look like he was moving around then she asked another lady which happened to be the same rude lady from before Diana Basurto to call my husband to help him out before they stated the class and she said ok. The instructor then explained to my husband that Diana was going to call him to help him set up this virtual class so he waited meanwhile he asked me if I could try and figure it out. So there we were trying to figure it out and waiting for Diana to call. it was 8:04am when the instructor told Diana to call, it is now 8:35am and she still hasn’t called. We’ve called more then 12 times to the office and NO ONE answers. It’s very frustrating for people like my husband and I because we don’t know anything about computers/ technology. I don’t understand why they couldn’t explain and show my husband step by step how to get on this Microsoft team app. And I think Zoom is way easier to understand and use. So now my husband can’t even get back in through the link they sent him so he can tell them he is still waiting for Diana to call him. There are people taking this class because it was court ordered and to just get treated this way when they are trying to do what’s right and complete their class is very upsetting, unfair and frustrating.

Bertha burns is the most Narcissistic and power hungry employee. For someone to kick me out for trying to be part of a discussion and being nice, waiting for everyone so I could talk is very rude . I spent $150 here when I could’ve done it somewhere else. Thanks for wasting mine and everyone else’s times . 26 people to only 5 is very jarring.

Never have I dealt with more people that seem to simply just not like their job, have problems with the people/customers they talk too, or are just flat out rude.

My first experience signing up for classes, I arrive at 1230pm. I was then told that, although they did not close till 7pm, I could not sign up for classes that day. Keep in mind I had traveled all of the way from Cedar Park(45 minutes+) to make it there in adequate time to make this deadline.

If that alone wasn’t bad enough, I then calmly ask if there is any possible way to either squeeze me in or if I could potentially talk to a supervisor as it would be impossible for me to gage when to get there in the future(I was told on Fridays for example it is possible counselors don’t even come in).

Instead of her going to get a manager, I was told either accept it or leave. Oddly enough, I went into the next room, completed my initial assessment, and was told by that person after that I could see a counselor! Thank you so much for that whoever you are. You and my counselors are the bright light.

Then - this morning - I call in and speak to Patricia. My goal was to try to find out what courses they were currently enrolling for so I could head down there and sign up if it made sense for my schedule. To my bewilderment - the first statement I get from her after asking how she was doing and what classes they are enrolling for - “We don’t do sign ups here.” I then asked her in politeness(instead of telling her I believe she got my initial question wrong) - “Can you tell me what classes you are enrolling for? I live over 45 minutes away and just want to make sure it fits in my schedule.”

Patricia - “You can try calling back. My system is currently down.”

Me - “Anything you can do to help is so much appreciated. As mentioned, I live 45 minutes away and any information you can give me is appreciated”

Patricia - “We are currently enrolling August 19, 21, 23, 26.”

End call. Mind you that some of this might differ slightly but I also left off some of the things she corrected me on - like about how the class is held during the week. Feel free to pull this call - it occurred on 7/25/2019 around 1:01pm.

CES workers - please - if you don’t like your job, have certain issues going on in your personal life, etc etc don’t take it out on us, your citizens, your customers, who are doing all we can to get our life right.

I have been here 5 times within the past two months to try to resolve 2 things. Their lack of informative directions and inefficiency has resulted in nothing but frustration and a giant headache every time I have been here. Make sure you take people's names when you call to ask questions so that when you show up and don't have the things you need, you have someone to keep accountable. The employee at the "information desk" did not know the answers to anyones questions. They are not open on the weekends and close early on Fridays, always get there early in the morning or else expect to be waiting over an hour. Most frustrating establishment I've ever had to deal with.

Robots. They just read from a propaganda pamphlet and take your money. they are not interested in justice or helping you out. Sorry if you have to come here. Sexist, racist, and propaganda specialist. They really don't know much about people, are not personable themselves(at least the counselors) and view every person as guilty simply cause of what is written in front of them despite the surmounting evidence that would exhortation you in a legit, constitutional system. failure to our society and a racket. I pray that the people working for this place realize how much they hurt society. The few that they do help are far and few between. No justice here. Make sure that no matter what the truth is that you will be spending at least 500 dollars in fees, and spend at least one day a week for 3-9 months regardless of why your in there. The evaluation is just a ruse to waste time and give someone a job to strengthen the racket that they run. They will use your honesty against you and turn you into a criminal even if you were the abused one granted your a male. They enforce the rhetoric that women are weak helpless creatures and promote a false feminist and racist philosophy in order to gain support and use peoples hardships as a way to gather revenue.
I pray that they can see the light of what harm they cause to families and that women and men dissolve this mindset that our society has embraced toward gender roles and how we treat each other.

Nate is spot on about this place. Its all huge racket for them to get money and kickbacks from their approved "vendors". Their decision and treatment is already made before you even start the assessment. They call it a "assessment" just so they can cover their end. It should be shut down or at least investigated, it is such a unethical business they have going on. I'm disgusted by it and sad that a place like this exist in Travis county.
