I can’t say enough good things about Little Blossoms!! We started attending in 2020 and were devastated when we had to leave this year due to a family move. The directors and the staff were always so welcoming and I never had to worry about my children being well taken care of. I never had a bad experience, they were always quick to address any minor incident that arose. I would send my children here for years more if I could and I recommend it to everyone looking for a childcare center in the area!

My kids went here for 10 years. The care at this facility has dramatically gone down hill since 2021. Lack of ownership, follow up and accountability from director and owner. Unfortunately there are no other options for childcare in Blair so we stayed here a lot longer than we should have. Our children no longer go here and I would highly recommend thinking twice before sending your kids here. They are no longer cheaper than Omaha so you’re better off driving to Omaha for care if you”re able to. After experiencing a new daycare I would never go back for so many reasons.

We went to this daycare for 10 years. Things were great until about 2021. My 6 year old son got jumped in the gym by 2 children. As my child was getting jumped from one end of the gym to the other not one single teacher witnessed this. This was all caught on camera which I watched and it was horrific. I met with the owner Jane who would not kick these kids out but assured me these kids would remain away from my child at all times. After 2 more incidents with these kids and Jane the owner refusing to kick these kids out of her care. I was forced to pull my son from care. The owner called us weeks later telling us the main child no longer went there because he had put his hands on another kid and that was the “final straw” that my son was more than welcome to come back if we wanted him too. If we had other options of childcare we would have pulled my other 2 kids from their care but with Covid and all in town daycares closing, we had no other options and had to leave them there. In 2023 we had our 4th child who started daycare there at 3 months. When she was 4 months old she was hospitalized and almost died from a GI bug that she got from daycare (no one in our family had gotten this bug). She lost almost 15% of her body weight in less than 24 hours. She was hospitalized for 2 days. When we called daycare and told them she wasn’t coming and why they told us this GI bug went through the entire daycare. We were extremely frustrated as this had to come from the staff not doing proper hand hygiene as she’s 4 months old doesn’t crawl, walk, etc. The director downplayed the situation as if no big deal kids get sick in daycare. We personally met with the owner who assured us things would change. Things got better for a couple months.
Other issues we had with my daughter. Feedings not being documented or done, diaper changes not happening every 2 hours, bottles not being rinsed, being left in the crib after nap when awake.
Move forward to my daughter being 9 months-1 year, diapers still not being changed/ documented as they should be, bottles still not being rinsed, daughter being bit weekly. Picking my daughter up and she has been sitting in a dirty diaper for who knows how long. Asked staff and director to change every hour because of horrible diaper rashes. This wasn’t being done. She was lucky to get changed every 2 hours. She had diaper rashes so bad she was bleeding.

We have found empty cough medicine packets in our kids papers. Walked in with our daughter and another boy in the bathroom completely naked going to the bathroom at the same time (4yrs old).

Their pre-k program that cost additional money every month is a joke. Both of our daughters were in the 2 different programs. One two days a week and one 3 days a week as they are a grade apart. They teach them the same exact thing in both classes. So my 2 years for each kid was a waste as they didn’t learn anything new.

With this just being some of the issues and us being proactive and constantly bringing these issues to light and then them continuing to happen and being told that we are responsible to tell the director if stuff is still not being done the way it should. Even after bringing these issues forward multiple times. We were told that maybe this daycare isn’t the right fit for our family. Needless to say we no longer go here and would never go back. The owner is too busy in her new business venture to care and the director is oblivious to all things. This daycare has gone downhill tremendously in the past 3 years. They are no longer cheaper than Omaha locations. We
would recommend not bringing your children here if at all possible. This daycare is not what it was 3 years ago.
