Hard to believe that Twain's old desk during his stint in Virginia City is in the basement of a dark and dank old building....but I guess it's true. Why isn't this in the Smithsonian? Hey 5 bucks and you can see it plus some other things Twain touched. Now that is a bargain!

This place is now closed as of the end of 2017. There are still some historical plaques outside of where the musuem was located. Worth seeing if you like Mark Twain and are in Virgina City!
