Working at Lang has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. It's more than just a school, it's truly a community. I know every kid by name, their quirky interests, favorite topics, and the special things that make them uniquely brilliant. The families aren't just parents, they're genuine partners who show up, advocate, and contribute wholeheartedly, creating a magical atmosphere where everyone belongs. Our board members aren't distant figures, they're real advocates who deeply care and are actively engaged. Lang isn’t just a place you work, it's where you see the magic happen every day - students thriving, colleagues supporting each other, and families coming together, all sharing in the joy, the challenges, and the incredible growth of these amazing kids.

My son has spent 9 years as a Lang student. After a terrible experience at a mainstream private school, Lang offered a safe and nurturing environment where my son could thrive. We looked at countless special needs private schools, and there truly is no place like Lang. Their ability to challenge my son academically while giving him the scaffolding and support he needs has been incredible. My child loves Lang. He cannot wait to get there every day. The faculty and staff there are fully invested in my child's success and are great partners. If you have a 2E child, you will not find a better learning environment for your child.

At Lang, our son feels that he finally found a place where he belongs and is learning that it's OK to be himself. He's building his identity, resilience, confidence and self-esteem. Lang offers intensive coordinated efforts to every individual student's well-being. They provide him with an individualized curriculum, resources and materials that satisfy our son's intellectual curiosities like no other school has ever done. For the first time since our son started his school life, he looks forward to going to school every morning. Lang also constantly communicates and collaborates with us as parents. It is not only a school but also a community for us, and this is a life-changing experience for our family. Having a kid with special needs is hard, and Lang has allowed us to connect with other parents who understand.

I have had three kids attend The Lang School. My two oldest transitioned to a more traditional school for high school, and are doing amazingly well. I have zero doubt that their current success would not be happening absent all that Lang did for them. Lang is a wonderful, caring, nurturing place where 2e kids can learn at their level and acquire the skills they need to succeed in their future endeavors.
