I owe the lady who met me at the door an apology, but I do not apologize for this review! Ma’am it is not your fault the power went out! However, having a printed copy of your schedule, with phone numbers, so you can contact patients in these situations would be most appreciated. I had to ask special permission to leave work early so I could be there before 4 to get bloodwork done. The fact that I had to make an appointment was already frustrating, but this pushed it over the top. It is the height of incompetence and highly inconsiderate to people who are in a similar situation. Have more consideration for the people that help pay your paychecks! I will NEVER set foot in your establishment again! I would rather drive to Tooele or Elko and get it done somewhere where I don’t need an appointment!

My 90 year old husband was very congested. Their webpage said that took walk ins. But the would not see him for a week. He could have been dead by then. Terrible service, actually, NO service.

TL;DR: the PA misdiagnosed me, which resulted in me developing a serious infection and needing surgery that could have been prevented

I came in with several bumps on my skin that looked like they were getting infected. The PA took one quick glance at them and said they were bug bites, then prescribed me a topical antibiotic. I mentioned that the bump on the back of my thigh was much worse than the one on my arm, but he didn't ask to examine it. He simply said if they didn't improve within 48 hours to come back (impossible because the clinic is closed on the weekend.)

I applied the ointment dilligently, but it made no difference, and over the next two days, the bump on the back of my thigh grew into an alarmingly large and painful abscess. I was forced to drive 100 miles to an urgent care clinic in Elko. When I got there, I was literally bleeding through my pants. The doctor said I didn't have bug bites - what I had was a skin infection, and I required oral antibiotics and an immediate draining of the abscess. He knew this because he asked me questions and actually examined the infected spots.

I had to go through a painful procedure, take two separate oral antibiotics, and miss three days of work because the PA at the Wendover clinic didn't do the bare minimum for me. I will never be returning to this clinic. Driving an hour an half to Elko is worth it.

They say that a PA is on duty 5 days a week, on Oct 25, there was not a PA on duty-when asked why not the site manager basically told me it was none of my business-her attitude was the worst I have ever dealt with

My wife (cancerous) had a migraine headache starting while we were in Wendover, NV.
Her migraines are debilitating usually requiring two to three days bed rest. We always have imitrex in our vehicle or with us, however this time we were in a rental car and forgot to replenish the one my wife carries in her purse.
We went to the local "Medical Center" in Wendover Nevada Health Centers - Wendover Community Health Center,
and the girl says sorry we are closing for lunch 11:45am.
I asked where can I go to get a Dr. To prescribe imitrex. She said you will have to come back after lunch and then I will look to see if or when we can squeeze her in.
Ended up calling her oncologist in Idaho Falls to get a prescription called in.

Moral of the story, don't get sick or have an accident in Wendover Nevada during their lunch time.
The time will come when you will have the karma wheel give you back what you have done.

If you need medical attention start heading to Salt Lake City.

I couldn’t have been happier with the treatment I received at this little clinic. The PA Christy, her assistant Gabby, and the office staff were all excellent. It’s no fun to go on vacation and get sick. But I was given great treatment, the injections I needed for sinus infection and upper respiratory infection and even follow up the next day. Thank you.

This place has always been terrible. You ask most locals and all you hear are horror stories. My last straw has been the fact they don't even provide covid testing unless it's on there "designated days".... hope you don't get sick otherwise. What a joke. Our town deserves better.

We were driving from kansas to cali and our baby got fever in the middle of salt flats out of salt lake. In panic we drove here and even though our insurance would not work with them they still checked her out for free. Amazing compassion in the middle of the desert and casinos.
