Altruist MMA is an awesome place to train. Every coach teaches on fundamentals and techniques very efficiently and every class is fun but challenging. The coaches do a great job facilitating a unique, creative and accepting culture in the training space while also cutting no slack…in other words once it’s time to work, WE WORK! Thank you Coach Eric and Coach Sharif for my first two sessions. I’m looking forward to many more with this team and staff!

Eric is skilled, charming, and cordial. The gym is a relaxed environment, perfect for beginners and veterans alike, with an extra gear to turn it up when you wanna grind. Very nice boxing teardrop bag, and full length heavy bags. I would highly recommend this gym to anyone, male or female.

Had a great experience at Altruist mma, trained at a few gyms but none felt as welcoming as this one. The coach’s take time to get to know you, and are also very knowledgeable in every realm. The other students are also friendly. I would definitely recommend this gym to anyone.

I was looking for a martial arts school for my children. I had previously looked into a certain dojo several years back but never signed up. None of the others I researched since impressed me, so I decided to give it a try again only to find out it was under new ownership. I researched this new school and really liked what it offered. I met with Eric and was immediately impressed. He was very welcoming and was ready to offer my family what suited us best and work with us instead of selling us on a cookie cutter program. We are now members and enjoy all of the classes especially MMA Workout with Eric and boxing with Sharif. I cannot not say enough about Altruist. Everyone from the instructors to the members are welcoming and nobody ever makes you feel less because of level of skill or fitness. Everyone is concerned with bettering those around them.

My family and I attended a free lesson in January. From start to finish we were busy, in a good way. The facility was well kept and the instructor was cordial, taught with detail, but kept it moving and did not go over any one's head. He had obvious skill mixed with a a good sense of humor that maybe made those that were a little uncomfortable with MMA workouts more comfortable. I have some experience in MMA style classes and this was a good lesson. Worked on our feet and on the ground. The regular practitioners who joined the class were all helpful and would challenge you only as much as you could handle. Ultimately I attended the class to see if my kids would be interested in joining regularly. They were interested, but schedules of other activities just are not allowing, for now. But our first free lesson was impressive.

Been going to Altruist for almost 3 years now and I cannot imagine going anywhere else to exercise. Most workouts are a mix of cardio, bag-work, and weight exercises that get my heart rate up while keeping things interesting and engaging! Maybe more importantly, Eric and everyone at Altruist are all kind, supportive people that have made a great community that really is a blessing to be a part of. 10/10, see y'all for 5:30 workout 🙂
