**Disappointed and Concerned**

I’ve been increasingly frustrated with this daycare since the new director took over. Communication is terrible—it takes over a week to get an email response, and when teachers quit, parents are left in the dark. There’s no effort to inform us about staffing changes, which directly impacts our children.

Every time I pick up my daughter from the early preschool class, she looks unkempt and dirty, which makes me question the level of care she’s receiving throughout the day. On top of that, I get constant calls from the infant room—fever, diarrhea, or some other issue—every single week. I understand kids get sick, but the frequency raises serious concerns about hygiene and illness prevention.

To make matters worse, my daughter missed two weeks in a row, and the previous director assured me adjustments would be made. Then the new director came in and completely disregarded that promise. There’s zero accountability, and it’s clear that profit is their main focus—not the well-being of the children.

The strict drop-off policy (no arrivals after 9:30 AM) is another unnecessary hardship for parents who are already juggling a lot. Instead of making life easier, this daycare makes things more stressful.

I’m deeply concerned about the health and safety standards here and would not recommend this daycare to other parents until major improvements are made.

I cannot recommend Star Academy enough! The care and attention they provide for my daughter is truly exceptional. From the moment we enrolled her, it’s been clear that this daycare is special. The staff is incredibly attentive, sticking to her feeding and nap schedules perfectly and guiding her through important developmental milestones like crawling, standing, and walking.

A special shoutout to Miss Ireland in the infant room—she is an absolute gem! Her natural gift with little ones is so apparent, and my daughter lights up every time she sees her. The crafts they create together, like adorable handprint or footprint keepsakes, are treasures I’ll cherish forever. I also love receiving the detailed daily log that tracks everything from meals to diapers and naps—it’s clear they care about keeping parents informed and involved.

The management team is equally wonderful, always friendly, approachable, and willing to help with any questions or concerns. It’s such a blessing to have a daycare that I fully trust with my baby. I never have to worry once I drop her off because I know she’s being cared for by an amazing team who genuinely loves what they do.

Star Academy is truly a second home for our little one, and I’m so grateful for the incredible environment they provide for her to learn, grow, and thrive!!

Worse experience and the staff need to be reevaluated and reported. Preschool teacher yelled and scream at my child because he touched the table she was cleaning. Then tried to fight me. If she still works there, beware and keep an eye on your children if you truly care about yours. The director is barely there and does not hold her staff accountable. They only answer the phone between 10am-4pm. Very unsafe if they agree to be caregivers if your children. Who do you reach if there is an emergency? Very unorganized, CPS needs to investigate that facility.

Star Academy is the best! I have noticed such an improvement in my kids development since they started attending star academy. My daughter started at 9months and my twin boys started at 3years old and this was the first school/daycare they ever attended. The Director Ms. Veronica and all the teachers are very welcoming and so kind. My kids love their teachers they are attentive, patient and make us feel so comfortable leaving them there. They supply detail reports and keep you informed on their daily progress including everything from what they ate, their nap time and their potty history. I highly recommend star academy and I'm glad we found them.

Our 3 yr old and 1 yr old have been coming here for 6 mo and they love it. Even on days when they are little short staffed, the staff always does their best to make sure all kids and ours our safe and having fun. My daughter loves her teacher Ms. Janette and our son has grown so close to his, Ms. Kayla/Adriana. We always get detailed daily reports and solutions when concerns arise. The entire staff is attentive and they are always onboard with our child's care and plan. They both love coming here and we feel happy and at ease leaving them in their care! Thank you all...

This is a wonderful school!!! My daughter has been going for over six months. The teachers are great, and you can tell they love kids. The staff is friendly, I love the atmosphere. My daugther learns a lot from here. The school is always clean and smells good.

I enrolled my daughter when she turned 3 months and I have nothing but wonderful things to say, she’s 9 months now and she loves her teachers. She enjoys her main teachers Miss Adriana and Mrs Shayna but all teachers are wonderful. She has made little friendships with the other babies and her teachers. The are on top of cleanliness and safety for the kids. Any time there is an incident I get a detailed and full report. I’m always consulted when it comes to introducing new foods and kept up on updates with her feedings and diapering. The best part for my family is that diapers, wipes and food ate included. Miss Veronica worked out a great price for us since we pay monthly and we always say how it’s worth every penny. I leave her every morning happy knowing I’m leaving her in good hands.
