This was a really enjoyable experience. I came not that long before closing and I got to see one of their showings. I got to take a photo with an owl, touch asnake, qnd watch a turtle pee on a guy lol. It started raining a bit but mostly was at the end and not so bad you'd need a umbrella. I took more photos than I could add and there's even a play area. Students get in for free, and there's a nice picnic area and lots of seating around. I think the only thing I couldn't see was the raptor exhibit as it's under construction I believe. A really nice experience.

Nicely padded walkways wind through the wooded areas and there are plenty of benches and picnic tables scattered around. I look forward to a return visit during the summer months, when there is more activity with the wildlife and there are other events happening.

I love this place. The birds, and ducks are sooooo beautiful! The camera doesn't do them justice. Crystal and Sabrina are friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Just like Alex at the museum. It was such a nice stroll around a naturally preserved area on Georgia Southern campus

My Daughter and I went to the Wildlife Education Center at Georgia Southern University this past weekend and it was a wonderful time. I grew up here in around this town and have been on some trips with school when I was younger, so i knew what to expect. Its not a super large zoo or anything but an awesome learning environment. It has an outdoor Wetland Reserve with its own Waterfowl Pond, a beautiful water brook, and many other outdoor walking trails to see wildlife. There are some other indoor habitats as well. There are many other events and programs available at the Wildlife Education Center, but we went on Saturday to just walked through and took pictures! It was a great afternoon activity for us to go walk and take pictures!

My wife and I visited the Georgia Southern Center for Wildlife Education and we enjoyed our time here. I believe the program means well, they help rehabilitate and care for injured animals while providing education to the public about the native and invasive species of plants and animals in the area. Unfortunately I believe the animals and the facility grounds are under kept.

What a wonderful place to visit! The raptors are incredible. It's amazing to view these beautiful birds up close outdoors and indoors. The 30 minute "Birds of Prey" program was a great learning experience and led by two very smart young ladies who represent GA Southern so well. The center does an excellent job of fulfilling its mission by educating on the environment.
