We have been enjoying NNBA since opening. Everything works great. The location's convenient and the next-door tacos are great too. There's positive atmosphere between faculty and students and people are very friendly and supportive at all time . I also like the live view of classes in the lobby and the back study room for some quiet work time while waiting for the kid. Everything's been good.

We are so excited by the opening of Northern Nevada Ballet Academy! Its director Kris Swaczyna is one of the best ballet teachers my daughter (an aspiring professional) has ever had! He has the ability to meet dancers where they are and really bring out the best in them. While we no longer live in Nevada she still makes an effort to come back multiple times a year just to learn from him!
This beautiful facility along with its talented faculty has the ability to produce professional level dancers as well as provide an awesome place for kids to feel supported in whatever their goals may be!

I started going to the Adult Ballet classes in October. I had never set foot in a dance studio before but Kris and everyone in the studio were so positive, kind, and patient. Kris answered all my questions and helped me figure out what class I should take. From there I started going to some other classes like Cardio Jazz Fusion with Heather. Everyone has been nothing but so kind and welcoming. I still go to the Adult Ballet class and Cardio Jazz Fusion. It is a really fun environment, we have a great time getting a good workout in and learning new skills. I really recommend giving this studio a chance!

This organization is truly exceptional! Owners Vinh and Kris have created an impeccable studio that fosters professionalism and provides training that helps students achieve their goals. The environment is welcoming for all students and their families. As the President of the Autism Coalition of Nevada, I am grateful for their inclusive mindset and look forward to the future of our collaboration as Community Partners! Reno is blessed to have such an amazing ballet company that dancers can enjoy!

I've been attending the adult ballet classes and here's what I appreciate:
-they're accessible at all levels, the instructors are good at reading the room, making things easier or more challenging.
-the instructors themselves. Being taught by such a dynamic and experienced team is a privilege.
-not having to dance with a class of teenagers to get more than a beginner intensity. There are not many studios that offer classes for adults that know what they're doing.
-the floor! So, so nice, the investment was well worth it. I don't want to feel my injuries and age when taking a class, and the floor makes all the difference.
Highly recommend for anyone wanting to learn or return.

Everything about this dance studio is exceptional…the instructors, the facility, the variety of classes offered, the productions, the community involvement,…
There are multiple styles of dance offered. The teachers bring next level talent and professionalism to class.
The 4 studio rooms are absolutely beautiful. The owners are incredibly welcoming and clearly want to nurture and encourage anyone’s love for dance.
There’s even a boutique attached that has everything you may need for dance from shoes to clothes to accessories!
I can’t say enough about happy I am that my daughter is part of the NNBA dance family.
If you’re looking for a top notch dance studio that has something for everyone, I highly recommend Northern Nevada Ballet Academy!

Northern Nevada Ballet Academy (NNBA) is very accommodating and welcomes students with varying degrees of skill level and interests. We met Kris at a different school and heard a lot of amazing feedback about him as an instructor and mentor. My daughter has been with NNBA for two months, and we have already noticed a marked improvement in her discipline, focus and dancing. Kris' passion for dance and theater is truly inspiring and contagious! He teaches with energy, compassion, and is always approachable. Vinh has also been so welcoming, accommodating and takes time to guide students and parents through the many curriculum available at the school. In addition, Heather is personable! Whenever you’re at NNBA, you feel comfortable and relaxed. It has been our pleasure to be part of the NNBA family. Thank you for everything you do for our kids! We truly appreciate it!

Where do I even begin, this studio is outstanding and I feel very blessed that my daughter will be instructed by Kris and have the chance to develop her love for ballet with this studio. They create a positive environment and exhibit a genuine care for each dancer. I thoroughly recommend NNBA.
