This is the best place to take your child the staff is amazing and so are the teachers. Mrs. Kristina is also the best director at any daycare I have ever been to! It is a clean and safe environment and the classrooms are very clean. Mrs. Kristina is the most approachable person in the world and treats everyone with kindness. And when there is no school Mrs. Kristina brings her kind-hearted helpful 10 year old child to help around the school! So, if you are looking some place for your child this is the place to be!

As a parent whose child attended Northshore Learning Center, I cannot, in good conscience, recommend this facility for childcare. While I initially hoped for a safe, structured, and nurturing environment for my child, my experience was far from that.

One of the biggest concerns was the severe lack of structure in my child's classroom. During pick-up, I frequently witnessed complete chaos, with little to no organization. My child often came home visibly unclean, with a face covered in dried boogers, despite previous concerns being raised about hygiene. This lack of basic care and attention was unacceptable, especially in a setting meant to prioritize children’s well-being.

The management, particularly the director, Kristina, was highly unprofessional. Instead of fostering a supportive environment for staff and families, she engaged in gossip and often used harsh disciplinary methods, including yelling at children. I was deeply unsettled to witness her yelling at my own child on one occasion when she was supposed to be assisting in her classroom. This alone was a major red flag.

Teacher turnover was another significant issue, leading to instability in the classrooms and inconsistent teacher-to-student ratios. Children need consistency to thrive, but with constant staffing changes and lack of proper training for new hires, there was no solid foundation for learning. The curriculum was not followed as promised, and the disorganization was evident.

Additionally, the front office did not provide a welcoming atmosphere. Some staff members were inconsistent in greeting parents, and there were noticeable safety hazards left unattended. On one occasion, I also noticed a sign in the lobby advertising tuition discounts in exchange for reviews on their website, which raises ethical concerns.

While there were a few exceptional teachers who genuinely cared about the children, the overall environment was not one where my child could effectively learn and grow. Unfortunately, my child even began to show behavioral regressions, reinforcing my decision to leave.

I am sharing this review to provide honest insight for parents considering this center. Every child deserves a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment, and until Northshore Learning Center makes significant improvements, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere for childcare.

We had a fantastic experience with this daycare. I was a little nervous, but the staff made the process very reassuring. They truly care about each child, and it shows in the way my baby lights up when we arrive each morning. It is a joy to see my baby come home each day excited to share new songs, crafts, and stories.

The facility itself is well-maintained, clean, and filled with age-appropriate toys and learning materials. The caregivers are attentive and keep the lines of communication open, updating me regularly on how the children are doing. The staff's efforts to meet the needs of a toddler and a baby at the same time are truly commendable. I couldn't be happier with the love, attention, and quality care the children receive. It's a place where they can grow, learn, and most importantly, feel loved.

My daughter has been attending this daycare since she was a bit over one, she is now 3. She loves going to "school"!
The director, Kristina, is the most approachable person in the world and treats you like family. She knows all the kiddos there and holds her staff to a high standard.
The Blue Jay room is the BEST. My daughter is thriving!!

We absolutely love Northshore Learning Center and couldn’t be more grateful for the incredible care and nurturing environment they provide for our son. My son is 3.5 years old and has been going here for about 6 months. He likes it there and likes his teachers. It's a clean and safe environment. For ideas on how to make it better...
1. An armed security person at the door (you can never be too safe) would be much better than their current security measures.
2. It would be nice if different languages were spoken there by teachers (so that my child can pick-up on new languages).
3. I'd make the hot lunches healthier; less chips, pizza, and mac n' cheese, and more fruit & veggies.

We’ve had a fantastic experience with this daycare. My three-year-old started a year and a half ago, and we recently added our one-year-old to the mix. I was a bit nervous at first about having both kids in daycare, but the staff made the process so reassuring.
