I would like to Acknowledge Quien Lister and Rosa Kiveris for their outstanding support and assistance. They've assisted me with everything from start to finish. From financial aid assistance to obtaining proper identification documents. Where assistance was needed along the way they were always willing and able. Honestly, I had no idea there were programs like this available for someone like me, being low income, and I’m so grateful to have found it. I’m 36 years old, so it is not easy for me to start completely new like it would be as a younger person, but I’m so glad I decided to go back to school after so many years and finding the program. Rosa has been absolutely amazing in helping me find a school in Dallas to better my future. Her guidance and support have been invaluable, and she’s made me feel so hopeful about the possibilities ahead. Today, we had our first video meeting, and it was wonderful to finally connect face-to-face. Rosa is professional, kind, and incredibly encouraging, which has made this whole process much easier for me. I love working with her so far and can’t wait to see what we can achieve together. Hannah and her team were invaluable to our families! They were here for several hours, working with families in English and Spanish. In planning the event, Hannah was quick to reply to my queries and provided excellent ideas and actions for our FAFSA Night, as well as merch and incentives to attend. It was a "too good to be true" kind of experience. I would highly recommend them and plan to book events with ORS next year.
