I enrolled in Tulsa Welding School with the hope of starting a career in electrical work. During orientation, I was informed that I would have a grace period to secure financial aid through FAFSA before fully committing to the program. Unfortunately, I faced delays in getting my FAFSA approved and communicated with the director about canceling my enrollment without financial responsibility.

Despite my request, my enrollment was not processed, and I later suffered an injury that kept me from attending for two weeks. Now, I am being charged $5,000 for attendance that I never intended to accrue. This situation has caused significant stress and financial strain.

I believe this is an unfair outcome, especially given the assurances I received. I would caution prospective students to thoroughly consider their options and clarify enrollment terms before committing.

Called to get more information and ask a few questions. Whoever I spoke with seemed to be annoyed that I called. I could barely hear a word they said due to background noise. Apparently they wont answer any questions over the phone, you have to schedule an appointment and physically go to the facility for that. All I wanted to know was how often they run welding classes. I read a lot of bad stuff about this school on reddit and it appears to be true. My advice to TWS is that if someone is willing to look past all the terrible posts you have online, bother to call you to figure out if they want to spend $20,000+ on your product, answer their questions and pretend like you care.

Mo & Brandon were my best teachers without a doubt. Absolutely adored them, taught me how to weld. The school is new so it does have some Ups and downs, but my seven months were fantastic there. Highly recommend

I started TWS (Dallas campus) in March of '24. I have had, and am still having, an overly positive experience here. I've learned a great deal and have been able to excel in every class. So much so, that even though I'm only just over half way through the training here, I've already been hired on as a welder with a local crane company at a very nice starting pay! Dillon and Isaac are both outstanding instructors, and having spoken with the instructors I will have in my last two phases, I don't have any reason to expect any less from them. And Big Will, the director of training, if you ever happen to need one... He will be your hero! (You'll understand that last comment shortly after you start school here...) I can't recommend this school highly enough! Absolutely worth the cost of tuition!
