We used the Motherhood Center’s newborn doula services for both day and night. They were absolutely fantastic. Everyone - the scheduling staff and the doulas - were incredibly kind and empathetic toward new mothers/parents. They were very easy to communicate with and willing to work with our preferred schedule. Not only did the doulas provide a helpful extra pair of hands, but they were also incredibly knowledgeable - I learned so much from them about newborn care and development that I otherwise would have never known. I highly recommend!

Attended the childbirth class with my husband in May of 2024. I loved the attentiveness of the staff and the facility. This being my first pregnancy and it being with multiples, I found the information valuable. The class gave me enough information to create my own birth plan, ask my high risk doctor questions and ease my anxiety. The presenter provided information on both C-sections and vaginal birth which I really appreciated. I recommend them all the time. As they appear to want to build a community and not just provide a transaction. I also rented the hospital breast pump from them after the leaving the hospital.

I took a birth class in the Motherhood Center because it had amazing reviews. The space was welcoming and the staff lovely. It was my first pregnancy, so I was desperate for guidance. However, I felt that this class lacked several things among these appropriate factual statistics and information not to mention the actual practice of postures and other things. I felt it covered some information, but a lot of it was not useful or actually clutter for my actual birth. The cost is relatively high for what I felt I got out of it. My husband is a surgeon, and he was with me during the class and felt there was a lot to be desired as well. I felt the nurses at Children's Memorial Hospital were much more knowledgeable and helpful in their directions than the nurse that gave us this class. Anyway, it's a lovely ambiance, just wasn't as useful as I would have liked now that I am looking back and know what birth entails.

They have been an amazing support in my pregnancy. I love the Pilates & fitness class the coach is the best and you feel great after the workout. Yoga classes are also very nice, empowering and relaxing.

I got a prenatal massage here from Erin, and it was amazing! I am 35 weeks pregnant, and she took good care to accommodate my pregnancy and check in often to make sure I was comfortable! The other staff were very friendly, and I highly recommend it!

The Motherhood Center of Houston is truly a godsend. My husband and I took full advantage of nearly all their services, and I cannot say enough about how incredible our experience has been. From the moment we walked through their doors, at their Baby Bump Social we were met with warmth, compassion, and unmatched expertise. It genuinely feels like a sanctuary for new and expecting parents.

While I was pregnant, we attended all four of their preparatory classes: CPR, Newborn Prep, Labor and Delivery, and Breastfeeding. Each class was thoughtfully structured and informative, leaving us feeling far more confident and prepared to step into parenthood. The instructors were patient, knowledgeable, and so encouraging.

Once our baby was born, we had the privilege of working with Renee, their amazing lactation consultant. She came to our home for consultations, and her guidance was invaluable throughout the first five months of my breastfeeding journey. Renee’s kindness and expertise gave me the reassurance I needed, and renting their hospital-grade pump was a game-changer for boosting my supply.

Their Doula and babysitting services were equally incredible. We had Angela, an outstanding newborn doula, help us both during the day and a few nights. She was a wealth of knowledge and support, giving me peace of mind and much-needed rest during those early weeks of motherhood. Later, we used their babysitting services and had the pleasure of working with Audrina, who was wonderful with our child—so caring, kind, and attentive.

I even treated myself to a postnatal massage, and it was heavenly—truly one of the most relaxing and rejuvenating experiences I’ve had.

The Motherhood Center is an extraordinary resource filled with caring, knowledgeable professionals who genuinely want to support you on your parenting journey. Thanks to them, I stepped into motherhood feeling empowered, well-prepared, and supported every step of the way.

Unfortunately, we had to leave Houston due to a job relocation, and I can’t express how much I’ll miss having the Motherhood Center in our lives. I wish every parent could have access to such a remarkable place. If you’re pregnant or a new (or old) parent, do yourself a favor and make The Motherhood Center a part of your journey. It truly is a one-stop shop that will leave you feeling loved, prepared, and confident. I cannot recommend their services enough!

The newborn classes were informative. The teachers were experienced, knowledgeable and perfectly answered our questions. I really appreciated the southern hospitality! I recommend this class to parents, nannies etc. I love the Motherhood Center. The staff make you feel welcomed and always ready to assist. It's such a positive atmosphere!!
