Legacy Kids Academy gave our family a sense of peace. We leave our little one in someone's hand, and he is well cared for even amid difficult days. Our previous experience with another daycare was rough, which always was on our minds when we were searching for a place where our child could call a second home. I still remember the first week of the transition, filled with cries and slowly adjusting to the new environment by clinging to his teacher. Within a week of admission, the staff were so vigilant that they informed me about the possible ear infection. I took him straight to the doctor, and he was diagnosed with a bilateral ear infection that was about to affect his health. Without much compromise, antibiotics were started in time, which reverted his declining health condition. That was the care I was always looking for, 'the touch of motherly personal care.' At this point, as a parent, I rested in peace that he was in the right hands of the caregiver and teachers who were passionate about childcare, growth, and physical and emotional development. I strongly recommend Legacy Kids Academy at Rowlett for our own childcare needs.

Our daughter has been with LKA since she was 12 weeks old. As new parents, finding people you can trust to care for your child is hard. She continues to hit milestones and enjoys going to school. We love LKA and trust the teachers and staff so much!

Although it started a little rocky & emotional for my toddler, as a new student, she has grown to LOVE LKA. Her teacher is amazing and the staff is loving and caring. Knowing that my child is in a safe place is the best feeling!

We love Legacy Kids academy both of my daughters have been there since 2023 my beby was 8 months old. Love how they have their system on taking care❤️ I highly recommend Legacy Kids academy.

We have loved our time at Legacy Kids. We have one kiddo that attends full time and one that does drop ins whenever school is closed. The staff is welcoming to us as parents and open to answering any questions or concerns. The teachers are so caring and it’s evident that they are helping my children build social skills and relationships. The family that they have built between themselves and the kids is so heart warming! It always amazes me the way they manage the classroom and the amount of routine they are able to keep up even with 2s. If you’re looking for a new daycare, check them out, you won’t be disappointed!

Legacy is an amazing daycare! I was super nervous about starting my daughter at a new daycare but was immediately relieved when all the staff was so friendly and caring. The director was awesome at getting my daughter in asap. The facility is very clean and well maintained. I absolutely love that they offer a variety of fun and educational activities! I highly recommend Legacy Kids Academy of Rowlett. It is so special to me that she is attending the daycare I went to when I was younger; so many sweet memories come back everytime I go in.

I tried really hard to NOT leave this type of review but my most recent issue here was my breaking point. My son came home with a broken-skin bite mark on his back and NO ONE NOTIFIED me of anything.... No incident report, no phone call, NOTHING.... Then when the owner talked to me, she was talking about "hitting/behavior" and not addressing the issue at hand. She felt the need to bring up the former teacher and try to throw her under the bus....What about the bite Totally unacceptable.

My overall view of Legacy Kids - Rowlett: (Ultimately, everyone has their own view/opinion but for me.... nah!)
My son is 2 yrs old and had been going here since he was 3 months. When he first started, I loved it.... He had 2 consistent teachers who genuinely loved and cared for all the babies in their class....They both left (Flag).
Then he was moved to the next class where the teacher did not speak ANY ENGLISH whatsoever. I am not against Spanish speaking but how is there supposed to be teacher-to-parent communication when there were no Spanish-speaking families in that class at the time. My son would fall out crying from not wanting to go in there everyday. When it was addressed with the director, nothing was done....I hated leaving him like that but I had to work and couldn't find another daycare with available space.
Fast forward, he moves up to the Toddler class (2yr olds), the teacher then (no longer there) was ABSOLUTELY GREAT with him, kept me informed, and most of all made him feel comfortable with her. When she left, there was no communication that there'd be a new teacher (other than her letting me know) I just walked in to new faces almost ever other day.
There is a ridiculously high-turnover there! Flag! Flag!
Flag! Children need consistency in those years and this is not where you will get that.

I want to start off by saying that my kids love this daycare especially my daughter she never wants to leave 😭 , my sons teachers shows so much love and affection to him , and I want to thank his current teacher for helping me start back potty training him he’s more motivated and love to go potty at home. This daycare is definitely a 10/10 🙂
