I moved to Rockwall last year and I was looking for a flight school close to home. I was very fortunate that I found Rudy's Aviation after taking lessons at Caddo Mills Airport and Addision. This place is well run and honestly the best kept secret in North Texas Aviation. It doesn't hurt that it is less than a mile from my house. I can't recommend this place and the staff enough. Wish I could give it more than 5 Stars.

EPIC Troop 1813 had a great time working with the team to earn their Aviation Merit Badge, thanks to John and his excellent team who worked with the troop and helped the scouts through a memorable experience that will stay with them for a lifetime, for some it was the first time and they had nothing but smiles and joy to share.

My extremely shy Grandson has always been introverted and very shy. His instructor, a young lady (Harley) has taken the time to get to know him. ( a previous instructor did not) and she has been able to get through to him and has gotten him motivated in the ground school learning, the flying, etc. I cannot say enough good about Rudy's Aviation. The pricing is fair, the planes are always well maintained and clean. The staff at Rudy's is involved and very competent. I usually put up not so good reviews but, these folks really do deserve 5 stars. You CAN utilize their services with confidence and trust.

I came across Rudy's after looking up inexpensive flights schools near me last March. I walked into Ralph Hall Municipal Airport and loved how small it was, and how welcoming the airport staff was. I met Crystal there after one of her student's lesson. She was very informative, relaxed and extremely helpful! I started flying with her last March and she is a wonderful instructor. Communicates really well, and very thoughtful at taking the time to figure out how I learned so she can teach me in a way that I could understand.
Aviation doesn't always go the way you want it to but Crystal worked very hard so that myself as well as other students received enough time in our ground and flight lessons. She set us up for success! I really enjoyed flying and studying with her. Made a new friend out of it and flew with fantastic pilot! Hope I get to fly with her in the future. I wish Crystal all the best of luck on her career!

I highly recommend Rudy’s! I’m getting my private pilots license and i feel so safe in the hands of my instructor! I have met John, who is the owner, and On multiple occasions and he is kind and always willing to lend a hand. This airport is small but it feels like home! Highly recommend!

BSA Troop 1813 out of EPIC had a phenomenal time here. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great flight experience. Look forward to coming back with my son and a couple of troop friends very soon again!
