I had my daughter at f&f for over a year before my employment changed and will be returning her to the center once it's feasible again. I enrolled my daughter at 3 months and she stayed until 14. The whole time the staff was very friendly and helpful, and was great with handling an exclusively breast fed and cloth diapered baby. There always seemed to be plenty of staff and the directors helped out where needed. I would recommend this facility to anybody. Note: This is a state licensed daycare so there are state mandated rules that every daycare must follow. This includes the babies sleeping on firm surfaces without blankets or bibs on. A pacifier is allowed. This facility has some of the better staff to child ratios that I know of. If you need more than f&f has to offer, then you'll be left looking for a nanny.

My daughter has been going to this daycare since she was about 8 weeks old I believe. I was worried because she was my first and she was so young.
They took such good care of her, now she almost 2 and she loves going to daycare. They are the most caring people, and they love each and every child there. I am so glad I picked them as my daycare for my daughter! She learning so much from them!

I can NOT express enough how absolutely WONDERFUL, AMAZING, CARING, ATTENTIVE and POSITIVE this school is! The staff is so kind and very respectful. It is such a comfortable environment and you can leave you children at school knowing they are in the best hands. My heart broke when we had to move them to another school because of a new job. I cried and still do when my son talks about his friends and his favorite teacher, Ms. Carmina. The patience she has with 3 year olds is beyond heroic. My son learned to count in Spanish and the pledge at age 3! I highly encourage you to bring your children here. It just doesn’t get any better! Kidd and Cru miss y’all, Faith and Family

I had very bad experience with the Faith and Family daycare.

I visited the Faith and Family daycare before my baby was born and one of its employees, Raegan Kubacak, gave me a tour. My first impression was good, mainly based on her description that the personnel are highly qualified and they tailor their care based on the baby's needs.

Later in Fall I visited again, this time with my husband and my new baby. We saw the 2 infants' rooms. One is for kids who cannot sit up yet (generally younger than 6 months), and another one for babies who can sit but cannot yet walk (6-12 months). My understanding after the tour was that our baby, who was going to be 6.5 months old at the time he starts, could start in the 2nd age group or could be soon transferred there.

I discussed with Ms. Raegan about how to transition our baby into the daycare, and we agreed that during the 1st week I would be coming every day with our baby for several hours to make sure he could sleep and eat there, before I could leave him there alone for a full day.

On the first day that I brought our baby to Faith and Family (January 4th, 2016), I realized that the babies in this daycare sleep in Graco ‘pack'n'plays’ that have no mattresses. In the class of eight children, there are 6 ‘pack'n'plays’ and 2 cribs. The cribs have mattresses, while ‘pack'n'plays’ only have fitted sheets, without any additional support. I asked the director if I could bring a mattress from home, but she responded that it was against the law. However my baby was transferred to one of the cribs.

During the 1st day I left 2 times for about an hour each time. During those times, the caretakers tried to make my baby sleep and eat, both unsuccessfully. He was left to cry in the crib and was very upset. Eventually he fell asleep for a short time. After he woke up they tried to give him the bottle and feed him, but he was too tired and only cried.

Because of the baby’s experience on the first day, I decided to stay with him the next day (January 5th, 2016) to make him feel more comfortable. My main observation on the second day was that out of 6-7 kids present in the room, 2 to 4 were always crying. The teachers did not have time to attend to all of them at the same time. Therefore, they would try to give them pacifiers or would briefly pick them up and then put back down to cry a few minutes later.

I asked how soon could my baby be moved to the older babies classroom and learned that a spot may become available in 2 months or later. By that time my baby would be about 9 months old. And if I chose to wait for two months before bringing my baby back to the center I would be placed on a waiting list again and likely will not be able to start in 2 months.

Ms. Raegan came in and was interacting with my baby. He was happy on the 2nd day at the center and I thought everything was going well. I was considering my options. Then my baby started to cry, and Ms. Raegan returned him to me and said that he just needs me.

A few minutes later, Kathy Ransleben (the center’s director) walked in with a check for me (but on my husband’s name even though I paid the tuition) in the amount that I had paid earlier for the first month tuition. And she just said to me: “we cannot provide the care that you need”, gave me the check and left.

I was shocked. Literally, I was being asked to leave the building and my baby was being ‘expelled’. I was profoundly bewildered by her attitude and action because I was not rude and I did not express a desire to take my baby away.

I found the behavior and actions of the center’s director to be outrageous and inappropriate. That in a daycare named ‘Faith and Family’ the caretakers did not want to make any reasonable effort to help a baby make the transition from home to daycare and to provide support and understanding for a mother who only was trying to help her son make this transition.

The staff is amazing! They work so well with the kiddos and you can tell they are loved! I love listening to my children pray before each meal the same prayer... because you KNOW that is something they do daily 🙂

My son currently attends Faith and Family and we love it! I was referred by a co-worker and I am SO grateful. If you are looking for a Christian based, positive, nurturing place for your child, this is it!

The worst management of all time. Carmina and Christina both lie to the staff about if someone is a “no show” and try to fire them after one or the other tells them they don’t have to show up, but they won’t fire the worker who vapes in the kids faces. They leave too low of staff members to close while they head home, etc.
