I love this daycare! It’s truly a hidden gem! My son has been there since he was 1.5 yo (now almost 4) and my 11 month old has been there she was 6 months old. I love all the teachers! They are great and the turnover is low. The same teacher that took care of my son is now taking care of my baby girl. They take such great care of our kids and treat them as their own family. It’s like dropping the kids off to their aunties everyday and you can tell the kids feel safe and are happy there. My son always looks forward to going to school so that says a lot. Ms. Zahia is the best. She reminds me of my mom and it is very comforting. Her passion and love for the kids is what makes this place extra special. I highly recommend this daycare! My husband agrees as well and he is a tough critic!

My oldest son has been going there for 3.5 years and he loves it. He comes home everyday and tells me what he did and would tell me how much he likes his teachers. My youngest who is 1.5 also attends and he leaves with smiles. First adventures is very attentive and informs you of everything that goes on. My schedule can be a bit crazy at times and they are always willing to work me. I will not take my kids anywhere else. First adventures Is like family.

I Have Been Taking 2 Of My Kiddos There For 3 Years I Live And Work 15 Minutes Away From Where The Daycare Is Located And It’s Because I Trust The Director/Owner And Also Staff With My Children. They Treat My Kiddos Like There Own They Have Great Communication With Parents Which I Love . And Regarding The Sickness It Doesn’t Matter Where You Take Your Kiddos There Is Always Going To Be A sickness. There Is No Way Any Infant ,Toddler Or Young Adult Will Be 1000% Healthy Unless They Have The Best Immune System Or Your Child Lives In A Bubble. As A Health Care Worker ,That Works With Multiple Doctors That Have Small Children That Always Get Sick Which From There Mouth Is Normal. And With 2 Children Of My Own That Have Asthma And Other Medical Problems Doesn't Always Mean They Are Contagious .

The staff are kind, caring and friendly, but they lack the training to properly identify illness, and thus allow parents to misreport their children's health on the check-in health questionnaire, and they allow obviously sick children to attend daycare.

We had our first son at First Adventures for a few months.  During that time, he was home sick more often than he was in daycare.  It got so bad that we had to unenroll him and hire a nanny.  He was in another daycare for 9 months prior to this, and a different daycare for another 9 months afterward, and he rarely got sick at all at either other daycare.

Then, we decided to give it another shot with our 2nd son.  The first day we dropped him off, there was a kid in the toddler room who was obviously sick. He/she had a croupy sounding cough with a lot of green mucus drainage. And lo and behold, after only being at the daycare and home with our family, our youngest son got sick 3 days later, followed by the rest of us. It was the worst illness our family has encountered, worse than when all of us had COVID at the same time in 2020.  Nausea, explosive vomiting, horrible diarrhea, congestion, fever and chills for nights in a row, hacking croupy cough and tons of green/yellow mucus drainage (the last 2 were the same symptoms we identified in the other child at the daycare).   I wouldn't wish this illness on our worst enemies.

Until the daycare staff are properly trained on how to identify illness, and they change their policies to stop allowing obviously sick children to attend this daycare, we will not be sending our children again, and strongly caution everyone else to consider their options. Unless your child has an abnormally strong immune system, or you have months of sick leave built up at work, I would recommend you look elsewhere for daycare for your children.

We used the game day childcare service for the South Carolina game and were very pleased. Ordinarily my infant has stranger anxiety, but we were able to slip away with no tears. My spirited 4 year old had a blast exploring the all the toys and doing fun arts and crafts. I highly recommend to anyone who needs game day childcare, but doesn't have a babysitter. There's no other place that offers infant care, so this was a big plus for us. We got 2 hours free if we paid for 4 hours, which seemed like like a good bargain.

We love First Adventures. They are very communicative, and friendly. I trust them with my daughter. Also they try and accommodate with parent's schedules as best they can. They have water days on Fridays, which my daughter loves! Highly recommended.
