I'm really shocked at some of the reviews given here!!! Triumph was nothing but a great experience for my son. He was going down every wrong path imaginable and we could no longer live with the chaos at home. I researched so many programs for our son and Triumph fit the bill. It had schooling, counseling and structure. My son also got to train dogs and he absolutely loved it. The parent weekends were great. They always had speakers and all kinds of workshops for you to work as a family when your son came home. I would always get a call back or an email from one of the staff members if I had questions about my child or the program. Our son attended school and saw that he could be successful if he put his mind to it. They were also always doing community service, dog trials and going on trips to somewhere. I can honestly say that if our son did not go to Triumph, I am positive that he would not be where he is today. He has a good job, and is taking on the responsibilities of growing up. My family will be forever grateful for the impact Triumph and the staff had on our son.

I went to Triumph when I was 14. A very vital time in my life. I was skipping school, hanging around with the wrong crowd, fighting my friends/family, the list goes on and on, overall doing piss poor. To this day, I can proudly say… if I never went to Triumph I wouldn’t have what I have today. Throughout my time at Triumph, I thrived extremely far with there retriever program, which is by far I think the most important part. Helps a young kid learn responsibility, helps build confidence and LOTS of patience. I was fortunate enough to bring my Black Lab home with me from Triumph, also after leaving the program I was able to get 2 more labs! This place truly saved my life! The staff were always there for me, whenever I needed something or just needed to vent they were there. The owner Sterling, could have gone with any other career, but he chose to work with young adolescents. He cares about everyone and would do anything to help them! He has an amazing family behind him, who were also very involved with the program as well! I’m truly blessed to have gone to such a great program, I got my life back, I got my dogs, life is good. Thank you Triumph!

I went to Triumph as a teen I actually was in with Elias who also left a review. Everything he said is accurate. I also want to point out it’s a money grab. The owner is always going on vacations and trips we heard about. From eating donuts they bought that expired that day to 20 pound tubes of meat they get for cheap. They use this book for the steps of rehab. And I even had a therapists who was still going through his education to be a therapist. I did like him though so no issues with him.
I did not get a dog as they are treated horribly, I can see the argument for training them as hunting dogs but they endure what a dog shouldn’t endure. I have seen abuse, drug use, and anger within almost all of the workers. These people don’t actually know anything about psychology or what addiction is they just use a book. They didn’t even come up with their own program. When I first got there I told my mother about this and once they found out what I was telling her they tried to silence me. Anytime I would call them the manager of the place would sit with me. For the price it’s not worth it, I have seen plenty of people go to normal rehabs with more success.

I REPEAT THIS PLACE IS A MONEY GRAB AND BARELY LEGAL TO BE CALLED A REHAB PLACE FOR KIDS. I WISH THEY WOULD GET INVESTIGATED.

I was a resident here, the food was sometimes moldy, the facility is not unkept. At one point during a poorly planned remodel, many of us where forced to live exclusively in a small classroom while the entire building filled with flies as the doors where left open. The staff members are also abusive, taking any opportunity to restrain. Not only that but false punishments in order to in-act a reaction was common aswell. From what I understand people like Dan Gladin and Tom Felipe lie and deceive parents on treatment status in order to extract more money. Do not send your kid here, I am not better in fact things are worse due to the trauma triumph left me with.

This program changed our child's life. The facilities were great. The lessons our child learned here will be with them for the rest of their life.

I went to Triumph 5 years ago as a teenager and it was perhaps the worst year of my life; I cannot recommend this place less. I have kept in contact with many of the boys who were in the program with me and I don't know a single one who didn't relapse immediately after leaving the program - I tried to kill myself ~a week after leaving (having wanted to for the entirety of my stay but fearing consequences of an unsuccessful attempt) and I know one boy who overdosed and died within 6 months and another who is now in prison.

Many of the day to day staff were genuinely kind and wanted to help the boys, but others were plainly abusive (either verbally or physically) or otherwise completely uninterested in making a positive impact on the boys in their care. My therapist for example described another boy on the program under his care as "the kind of kid that ends up dead in a ditch."

The program itself seems more designed to punish dissent and force dishonest cooperation through fear of an elongated stay than to rehabilitate and rebuild young men's lives through compassion and education. The dog program is similarly awful - boys are required to hit their dogs as part of training and are punished if they refuse to do so.

Coming to Triumph strained my mental health and my relationship with my family almost to a breaking point. DO NOT send your children here.

I went here as a troubled teen and it was the best thing to ever happen to me. Everyone that was involved was so supportive and many have remained in my life as mentors or part of my support group. Also, while in the program I was able to graduate high school which was not in my cards prior to the program. I’m eternally grateful for Triumph Youth Services for the life I have been able to have.

I used to be in this program as a troubled youth. When I was 16 years old. I was actually part of the group that built this facility. First group to enter.
This program is the best program I was in. I grew up with a very troubled youth. I was in 6 programs until I reached Triumph. Sterling was always there for everyone of us. Treated us as his own children. Teaching us work ethic, morals and values.
I hope one day I can be involved with talking to the troubled youth. From where I came to where I am now. Thank you Triumph! Special thank you to Sterling.
