I am giving them 1 star because no stars is not an option. Nov. 2022 I signed up to have one of my children to be tested for autism. I called monthly to see when they could set an appointment and was told they would call me right back and let me know. The only calls I received were calls from their billing department wanting to know how I was going to pay them even though I let them know on the billing intake form that I would be doing self pay. At the end of March, with still no appointment I contacted ABS Kids in Salt Lake and they set an appointment as soon as the intake forms were completed. At that point I notified UTBS that I was discontinuing services with them which is ironic since I received NO services from them for my child.
Fast forward to July 2024. Upon the recommendation of another parent with autistic children I contacted UTBS to set up an appointment for both my children to be seen for services. I filled out the intake forms for one child and ran into a roadblock trying to update the intake form for my other child and no one there was willing to help get past it.
UTBS gave appointment times and then updated them with contradictory times so on the day of the appointments we did not know for sure what time we were supposed to be there. Using the last update that they provided we showed up and they refused to see either child; one child because the forms were not updated properly, and the other because they claimed he missed his appointment.
Several days after this I get a call from the director of the Brigham City UTBS office and I explained to her the issues that I have had with them and told her to close out our accounts because I was disgusted with the lack of professionalism to provide services.
Several days later I get a bill from them. I called and after discussing the issues that I had with their company they agreed to cancel the bill for the missed appointments. Well today, one month later, even though they told me they had cancelled their bill, I receive another bill for the "missed" appointments, They were missed appointment because UT BS refused to see my children! When I called today to speak to billing, they transferred my call and then hung up on me. Bottom line, all they seem to care about is money. There are other and better services for autistic children. Use them.

It's such a nightmare to be on a waiting list for a therapist when you really need to see one

Been on a waiting list for 5 months.....sorry, I'm not believing this. Yes, they still have me on the list, but their original estimate of one month has been debunked by myself and other reviewers here. I recommend people go elsewhere. I think this must just be a friends and family thing. The one star is justified, as after 5 months of interaction with them, I have yet to see ANY services. That would be a 1 star in any business.
