We have been with Davis & Bott for over 10 years. Our yearly invoice raised from 475 up to 650.- this year for less documents than last year and maybe 20 min sitting in the office with Matthew J. Since the invoice has no details we kindly asked where the 650 comes from. The CPA did not bother to answer and Natalie P. who responded to the email expressed that she is sorry and wished we would have gotten a response. Nothing else. That was it. Very disappointing and I would never recommend Davis & Bott to anyone. This is dishonest and not the right thing to do. If you read this it's still time to respond with an explanation or refund the money we (in our opinion) paid too much.

Davis & Bott is who you want to do your taxes. They are straight forward and knowledgeable. Spencer has helped me over the past couple years and he's always on top of it. I highly recommend.

Very disappointing experience with Davis and Bott. We filed taxes with them for 2 years, but they messed up on our 2023 return (we ended up owing some of the return we got, we found out because the IRS notified us via mail) and they charged us to fix the mistake they originally caused. No accountability for their actions, and unprofessional behavior. Save yourself the money and headache and go with someone else for personal tax filing.

First and foremost, Andrea is very dishonest with her pricing and the way she discloses/discusses her costs for service. I never would have done business with her if she discussed her services in a transparent manner. She charged me nearly $2000 to do my taxes for a single calendar year. I paid $420.31 for quarterly filings just prior to tax season and then she charged me another $1557.15 to file my taxes. That’s $1977.46.

I initially went into Davis and Bott looking for a new accountant who was a bit more affordable. In the past I’d paid $500-600 for taxes most years with my old accountant (personal and business filing). I told Andrea I wanted my taxes done right, but I also wanted to spend less. She told me “she would be a good fit and would be happy to take me on as a client”. Andrea did not disclose her exact costs since it would be depending on how much time it took to file for her services. She did not give me an estimate or disclose her hourly rates and other costs.

Andrea ended up billing me for over $1950 dollars.

She apparently “forgot” to mention she charges $200 hour. She also forgot to mention they charge $10-15 per phone call attempt and $10 per email. There was a slew of other charges they told me, but I simply can’t remember them all. The pricing is absolutely outrageous and she only received my business because of her deception and intentional non-disclosure of her rates for service. I never would have used her services had I known her rates.

She knows what she’s doing and is a good accountant in regard to her skill and knowledge of the industry, but in my mind she is certainly morally compromised and not a good person to do business with.

I do not recommend using Davis and Bott, especially Andrea. I am very disappointed with Andrea and her dishonest approach to business.

Andrea is a dishonest piece of (explicit). I paid nearly $2300 in a one year period to that crook. My last accountant was 1/4th of the cost and did a better job. Davis and Bott should fire her!!

Davis & Bott has been a fantastic resource for any questions or concerns. Would not hesitate to recommend to anyone with questions. Tyson has been a major asset on my team. Be sure to talk to them first about any potential tax implications before making any major decision or taking advantage of any "tax credits" that companies offer to make sure it would actually qualify for the credits they promise on various products.
