Raegan was my stylist. Asked for layers and a face frame, and she exceeded my expectations. Gave me exactly what I had asked for in my inspo pics and the blowout at the end was beautiful.
Maddie, the instructor, was very meticulous when checking each step and making sure everything looked good throughout the entire process.
Front desk was exceptional and made sure I was well taken care of. Got me in for a walk-in despite it being late in the afternoon, and their customer service was fantastic.
Will definitely be coming back again to try out their other services

I don’t want to make this a long story, but I want everyone to know about the terrible experience I had today after getting a haircut at this location. I’ve been coming here for over a year and a half, and I’ve never experienced anything like this before. I understand that using student services comes with risks, but I need to share how unprofessional this instructor was.

First, she came over and made a comment that she was “jealous of my hair,” which was the first red flag for me. Then, she told the student to hurry up, saying she would take over because she needed the student to finish my service quickly. This instructor then started cutting my hair recklessly, without asking me or the student about my expectations.

The result of this instructor taking over my haircut was disastrous. Director and another instructor were very understanding and tried to fix the issue and apologized right after I was brought to tears. However, the person ( I can’t even remerber her name but there is a picture of her) who caused this mess didn’t even bother to do anything; she just walked away and watched from the back of the room. Perhaps she thought she had done a great job, which makes me question the kind of education the students are receiving.

I love this place. I’ve been coming here for a very long time, but just recently have discovered the esti department And I can say that I will recommend this 100% to anyone I’ve had many facials, but this facial is top notch, relaxing, beautiful atmosphere. Everything was organized. The instructor came in several times to check on me. She instructed her student from beginning all the way! Excellent would highly recommend
The instructor Ms Leticia is very accommodating, you can tell she loves her job. She demonstrated a massage which was absolutely amazing.

Raegan did my hair and she was so amazing! I’ve never left a hair appointment feeling this happy about the result before in my life! I had gone in with boring dry brown hair and left with layers, highlights, and curtain bangs which was exactly how I pictured! Also recommended me which products would help maintain and bring health to my hair! I will def be back in 4-6 weeks. The other students and teachers I met while there were all so helpful and fun as well! Such an amazing professional environment!

I regret to say that I can't give Aveda Institute Brandon any stars, as their service completely ruined my hair. This marks my second visit to the Brandon location, and I deeply regret giving them another chance—"NEVER AGAIN!!" I selected a senior-level student who claims she will graduate in two weeks, but she is far from ready to work with the public. What’s alarming is that she already has a job at a higher-end salon chain.

I provided the student with three reference photos of the hairstyle I desired: one showing the back, one depicting the side, and one illustrating the front, specifically highlighting how I wanted my bangs cut. It was a bob haircut with a subtle stack—something she should have mastered by this point. The instructor initiated the stacking process and asked the student if she understood the task, to which she replied yes. However, when the teacher returned to assess her work, it was a COMPLETE disaster, clearly not up to par.

It was so poorly done that they decided not to charge me for the haircut, but by that time, it was too late. I now have to deal with this awful haircut. Additionally, I noticed the senior student struggled with blow-drying the style, indicating a lack of confidence in her skills. My advice is to AVOID this place for haircuts at all costs!

Came in for a root touch up and also added lowlights. Natalie did an excellent job! She listened to my needs and issues and it was exactly what I wanted. The instructor Kim was available to help Natalie with her questions and was extremely patient and informative with her answers. I have already booked my next appointment with her and I’m looking forward to trying other services!

This is an amazing place. The students are all lovely. Love the fact that they learn on you. I get the best facials and blow outs.and the prices and products they use on your skin and hair are awesome. Ive been going here over a year and I am thrilled with the services and love giving students the opportunity the experience they need to graduate. I had a great experience at this location today! My stylist was Caitlin and she was knowledgeable, took her time to get my highlights just right, and was fun to talk with. The front desk helpers and instructors were also very pleasant. I was offered a drink by 3 or 4 different people and felt very welcomed. Caitlin’s overseeing instructor Laquita was also super nice and helped with my cut when time was running long. They even saved me some money by eliminating the toner I was quoted to use as a recommendation because it wasn’t really needed. All in all, five out of five! Highly recommend saving some money in this crazy economy and allowing the students at Aveda to work on your hair and beauty needs!
