Yes, I am related to Chad-but I would give this rating even if I wasn’t! Chad takes time to listen to your concerns, and then takes whatever time you need to address your problems. He is very knowledgeable and very accurate about diagnosis. He is very kind, and has an amazing bedside manner! Also the office people are great too! I would recommend Chad and this practice to anyone!

I just recently moved back to Cache Valley after spending the last 10 years in Salt Lake County. Finding a good family practice was a high priority, and I started coming to Chad after receiving a recommendation from a friend.

As a patient, I’ve never before felt this level of concern and attention from a medical provider. When I express my health concerns, I can tell from his body language and eye contact that Chad is listening to every word. Instead of typing away at a computer as I talk, which has become the norm at other offices, he folds his hands and makes me feel that he’d rather be nowhere else. I’ve never once felt rushed to get to the point or get out the door as quickly as possible.

I’m very grateful for Chad and his staff. I’m not exaggerating when I say that I truly wonder how much better medical treatment and patient outcomes would be if all practitioners approached patient care with the same level of concern, respect, and kindness as Chad and his staff.

As a mental health therapist I have referred many of my clients to Chad for medication.They felt he was compassionate and validating of what they were struggling with and they enjoyed working with him. He did a great job of educating them on the medication prescribed and answering their questions. He also provides GeneSight testing to prescribe the best medication that will work with their DNA. Chad Speth is an incredible practitioner and has great bed side manner. I saw him after multiple doctors, a specialist, a procedure, and a couple of ER trips were unable to find the source of my pain. Chad examined me, got some ideas, did some consulting and research and had a diagnosis and medication by the end of the day. I can live a normal life again. He fights for his patients and doesn’t give up. I don’t give out recommendations lightly but I highly recommend him.

DO NOT GO HERE WITH CONSERVICE INSURANCE

Billing is not upfront. There are charges that are not communicated to the patients of what may or may not be covered under insurance. When a patient fulfills their copay at time of service that should consider all charges. I gave them my insurance cards before and they should’ve done the pre-certifications for their office and told me as patient. I referred a family member here and got an additional $150 bill for uncovered services. This place may be good at heart or look or sound that way but they are not up front with their billing practices. I called for mental health therapy covered 100% and AFTER I was checked in and getting health diagnostics done it was evident I wasn’t at a psychologists office. They couldn’t more clearly stated their practice purpose on the phone on my scheduling call. I’m extremely upset with the practices of this facility. Wanky billing that is underinformed office practices. This is a nurse practitioner office, not a doctor office.

The lack of upfront transparency in billing is absurd to get over $150 of new patient assessment that is not covered under insurance. Where else does this?!!!? Just go to Sterling or anywhere else in the valley.

Chad speth was nice but the billing practices are bogus and this is NOT as transparent of an office as it should be. This is not a mental health therapy visit which they do not clarify on the phone. They can prescribe meds and attempt to charge a big new patient flat fee that isn’t covered and not tell you about it.
