This school has it's own way of teaching and that teaching helped all of us to be better students. They would use interesting ways to teach a subject. We are always outside learning about life and how they survive. As well using science projects to empower us. They would take us on so many field trips and they weren't boring trips, this trips were to go canoeing or snow shoeing. It's also not to crowded there only two classes per grade. Plus this year they added a sixth grade. They provide many opportunists for students. For example, they provided vex robotics and Lego robotics. Edith Bowen is an amazing school and it still is

Edith Bowen Laboratory School (EBLS) plans a San Juan river trip for the 6th graders each year and the kids learn so much during the amazing experience. Thy have fantastic teachers, guides, food and memories to last a lifetime! I can’t speak highly enough of the group that took my daughter!

My son (4th grade) was taken on 2 field experiences while my daughter was on her river trip. One was up Logan Canyon exploring rocks, river & more while the other was to Hardware Ranch doing field work with invasive inspects.

I must say that the teachers, support staff and administrators are fantastic! Yet, one of the best features is the association with USU that has college students gaining hands-on experience with students. My kids are in a classroom with many more adults than most elementary schools and receive much more one on one attention.

Very bad lottery process. It was not transparent at all. The thing really bothered me was its approach. Every registered student got a lot in the lottery, which meant a twin would have *twice* chance to a non-twin child. This didn't seem fair to me.
