When you are ready and willing to disconnect from whatever is holding you back and genuinely give yourself some time then this organization is where you want to go to. When I get there it feels like i am going home because that is how welcoming they are, like they know there is some kind of soft side about you. SaQuoyah will get you addicted to 'bank'... when you converse with Casey she genuinely listens.. Terri's hugs are of genuine care.... My favorite part was not having cellular service and truly conversing with individuals that love life and what they do for us veterans and all those that have come to enjoy an event and feel as if you have a new home to come to with individuals that care about you.

This organization is OUTSTANDING. Working with specific groups that require adaptations to participate in recreational therapy and outdoor activities and adventures, Common Ground has been serving children with various disabilities and also disabled veterans for many years. The staff are all homegrown locals and have the aptitude and patience to make special memories for so many. Thank you guys! 🙂

“Common Ground Adventures” out of Cache County, Utah sponsored a snow ski event for disabled military veterans at Beaver Mountain Ski resort from 18 to 21 January 2025. It was absolutely fabulous. Much credit goes to the organizer Casey and her very capable intern, Jess, who provided transportation, food, lift tickets and outstanding instructors and volunteers to make this a safe and fun filled memory never to be forgotten.
Thank you “Common Ground Adventures” for all you do to help disabled citizens still have a quality of life.

Casey and all of the common ground volunteers organized and ran a wonderful trip for us. You can see the pride they take in supporting us veterans with disabilities through their cheery demeanor and attention to detail. I loved every minute of our ski trip to Beaver Mountain. Nice job, everyone!!

This group is incredible the good they do for people, but especially me. I was diagnosed with MS in 2015, and I thought I had to give up skiing. In 2022, at Beaver I was able to ski again, and wake up my dreams again. Thank you for feeding me hope. and the lodge at Beaver was very nice. thank you!

This is a great organization! The staff and volunteers have always been kind and helpful to my autistic, anxious child, and have helped him have fun at outdoor activities that he wouldn't otherwise get to experience. They are able to encourage and support him in having successful experiences, where he can feel proud of himself.

It's hard for me to type very much. I am on one of the group activities videos, where we were making little arts and crafts snow people. You could watch and listen to me there if you would like. I have been going with common ground outdoor adventures since about March 2017, and I have enjoyed every single activity since then. And I have been involved with many activities of various kinds. We've always had pretty good groups of participants, and volunteers and leaders. The leaders are all wonderful and talented workers. CGOA is a wonderful, special, fun, and super program and business organization!
