I had the best experience getting my PADI certification with Greg. He was patient and informative and helped address everyone’s concerns in a calm and clear manner. His passion for scuba diving was very clear and helped us understand the real life practices of the skills we learned. The class size was small which is perfect. I can’t imagine being in some of the larger classes I saw at the pool it would not have been the same experience. If you are getting into scuba diving I highly recommend going to Scubaholics and Greg.

I just finished PADI Open Water certification with Greg. He was an excellent instructor and was very patient with both me and my wife. Greg took time to make sure that we understood each skill and were comfortable with it before moving on.

I waited until the last minute to get certified before a trip to Mexico and Greg was very flexible with scheduling. He helped me get certified when all of the other shops told me I was out of time. Greg also offered instruction at a very competitive price. I would highly recommend him as a dive instructor if you are thinking about it.

Scubaholics Dive Club is great. I did my first open water PADI certification with them. Greg and his crew are fantastic. They take the time to answer questions and make sure you are comfortable with breathing under water. The class sizes are small, so it's really easy to get the help you need.

The first day was just classroom learning. The next three days are a combination of classroom and diving at the rec center. The last two days are all diving at the Homestead Crater in Midway. Each day built on the last, so you gradually increase skills and difficulty. I was completely comfortable all along the way.

Amazing scuba shop! Greg and Jolene are the best people to learn from. I have been nothing but impressed with Scubaholics! A couple of friends and I got certified here before I went diving in Hawaii, and I could not have asked for a better instructor. If you are looking to get certified, the small class sizes and quality of instruction are what really set Scubaholics ahead of the pack.

Really fun and entertaining way to get certified! Greg kept the perfect balance while watching the videos of when to give answers, review, or pause. He was flexible with scheduling and my time felt valuable, no time was wasted! I love that we jumped in the water the second class! Videos are good for getting info, but experience is better!

As a teacher myself he was a great facilitator that knew to move on when we understood, and knew when to expand on information when we were simply interested. Small class sizes helped I'm sure. We all shared a lot of laughs on the way too!

I truly believe if I went to any other coach I may have quit and never become Open Water Certified. Greg answered all my questions and ensured I learned all the skills necessary to be proficient, comfortable and confident! Day 2 was tough for me…my final dive I didn’t want to get out of the water! And there’s not 10,000 people in the class so you can actually ask questions and practice efficiently. Thank you guys SO much!!

My wife and I did our advanced open water certification with scubaholics and just loved the owners/instructors. An added bonus was specializing in small classes! More 1 on 1 with instructors. The store is full of so much gear in so many colors! Highly recommend this shop! Go check them out. We love this shop and have made some amazing new friends at Scubaholics!
