Karina, is hands down the best person to have in the room with you during both labor and delivery! She not only knows what she is doing, but she has multiple different techniques to help ease the discomfort of contractions. Just having her in the room made me feel more stronger and more confident in my abilities to make it through my labor and delivery without medication!! I can't say enough positive things about Karina personally and professionally and I will definitely be calling her if we have another baby!

Having Karina as my doula gave me so much peace, knowing I had someone to turn to throughout pregnancy and birth that I could trust. The prenatal visits were super helpful in helping me feel prepared for birth. I was particularly concerned about having to be induced, as well as gestational diabetes, and Karina was able to provide me with a lot of great info on those topics. I loved that she provided supplements to take toward the end of pregnancy, as well as rebozo techniques for my husband to learn. During the birth she provided amazing pain relief as well as mental support, I don't know what I would've done without her!

My husband and I took Bradley Method class taught by Karina, the classes were fun and super knowledgeable! The class really helped my husband and I be on the same page about what to expect from each other and the labor/delivery process. I truly believe going through those classes help me have the amazing delivery I had, even with being induced (all explained during the class). Karina also encapsulated my placenta after the birth which she did an amazing job doing.. Thank you Karina!

Karina has experience with the many ways that a birth look, and I felt safe in her company. Between her and website, I had endless educational opportunities about the whole process. My labor and delivery of my twin boys ultimately took some turns that I didn’t expect (as I’m sure most do) and I was so grateful for her calm, capable support. She helped me to know my options as my plan transformed, fed me ice chips, and stayed with me as my primary person when my husband followed my first born to the NICU. Karina is very passionate about mom's having the birth experience they deserve. She is more on the quiet side, but has a good sense of humor. She inspires confidence in people, and puts them at ease. She is very knowledgeable about being a doula as she has assisted in over 20 births, and but is still trying to learn more, so that she can be one of the best at what she does. Just from her knowledge and personality, I would recommend her to anyone looking for a doula.

I have had the pleasure to work with Karina (Peaceful Deliveries) and I absolutely loved it. She is amazing. I loved how gentle and kind she is. She also has so much strength for the birthing mom when it came to her needing extra counter pressure. She has a kind listening ear and is packed full of amazing knowledge. I recently had the opportunity to witness Karina in action at a birth. She was so calm and absolutely amazing with the laboring mom and also with the family. She was filled with knowledge and incredibly prepared with many coping techniques and resources for the laboring mother. Karina is exceptional. She demonstrated the value that one could only hope a doula has regardless of your birth experience! Despite our desires to have a vaginal and non-medicated birth, our baby stayed in the breech position the whole way through. We opted not to deliver vaginally and instead ended up going into spontaneous labor at 38 weeks and delivering via C-birth. Karina was a valuable resource to my husband and I even once we learned that this would likely be our outcome. She was non-biased and gave us all information regarding an external cephalic version (aka: version), holistic remedies and body positions to help turn baby, options for having a vaginal breech delivery, gentle c-section, spontaneous labor vs. scheduled c-sections, etc. We had a "false alarm" at about 37 weeks and she was there at the hospital with us. She was there once our baby was born (if the hospital would have allowed an additional person in the OR I would have loved for her to have been there as well) and she was there post-partum to check on us and see how breastfeeding was going and to deliver our placenta capsules and oil to us. She was our most valuable resource through the entire process, undoubtedly! And amidst all of the praise I could give her, perhaps my favorite quality of Karina's is that she allowed this to be our experience. To be able to be so present, so available and so supportive whilst maintaining a calm and non-dominant presence is a gift. Thank you Karina for what you do. And to the mamas- and dadas-to-be, yes, go with Karina!
