Great place to study. There is a good mix of active and quiet study locations. They have vending machines and food you can purchase. Lots of access to books, computers (including VR) and other resources. Great place to study. A lot of socializing also goes on in the 3rd level main room. However it’s not hard to find a quiet place to study. Friendly and helpful staff as well!

This library is very quiet and there is a lot of space to study. They also have places for group study where you can make more noise. I like how they have a cafeteria in the first floor. It is a great place to study for long hours.

Great place to study. If you are looking for a quiet spot try the grand reading room on level 3 or behind the reserve desk on level 2. Also there is a family reading room that students with kids have access to with computers and toys in it.

This library is a disaster. Almost the whole library has been given over to vast empty hallways and study rooms with tables and chairs. The books are relegated to the corners of the building and they are almost impossible to find. The maps don't help because they don't give your location so there's no way to tell what is right or left, forward or back. I had to go to the front desk to find a particular call number. What's even worse is that the books are put on these huge shelves that are all stuck together with no room in between them. Each shelf weighs several tons with books. To access any particular book, it's necessary to move, by hand, a whole row of shelves weighing perhaps 100 tons altogether in order to open up any shelf. For olympic weight lifters that might be easy task, but for ordinary folk, it's quite a workout, as well as being a tedious long process. I can't imagine a petite woman being able to access any books at all. The shelves themselves are about 10 feet tall, and even with the step stools provided, it's almost impossible to see or reach the books on the top shelf, at least for a person of average height.

I really love this library considering how much time I have spent here. You’d think I’d be sick of it.

It’s clean, quiet, and the employees are always kind and helpful. There are so many student resources. I discover something new often.

There are study rooms that may be booked ahead of time for isolated study time. There is a quiet reading room for students who want little distractions. There are study areas for groups that enjoy reviewing together. There is a family study room for students who have small children and need to bring them along for study time.

There are comfy seats on the third floor that I have found myself napping in. Also on the third floor are some desks with bike peddles or treadmills under them to help keep you active.

There is a cafe on the first floor near the tutoring center. The coffee is not my favorite, but they have a handful of options for breakfast and lunch. Since I often find myself at the library well past dinner time, I do wish that the cafe stayed open longer than it does.

The library employees at the knowledge commons desk who are supposed to help students with resources could not be more abrasive and actively unhelpful.

Despite being a publicly-funded library...
Despite being open to the public prior to the lockdowns..
Despite the vaccines being widely available now...
And despite the mask mandates being dropped..
The library is STILL restricted to students and faculty only. This reeks of elitism and exclusionism. There is 0 reason why the library should have any exclusions at this point.
