This is a small company with friendly staff. They hire people to work at third party companies as temp labor, if all goes well they can get on with the company directly. This is a very common practice for larger companies to use temp services like this. The third party company (in most cases mines) do make the final hiring decisions but Zooks is good at working with their employees and helping people as much as they can. Contract work can be a difficult world dictated by the client but if you are a valuable asset Zooks does everything they can to work with you.

Pretty much the same thing happened to me. I live in Colorado and applied and sumitted a resume online and was contacted right away by phone. Did a phone interview and was invited to Utah to get started as soon as possible after handling a couple things on my end. After the call I was sent text messages with an email address and phone number and fax number and was told we'd stay in touch and see each other in Utah in the next couple days. I called my current bos and explained to him what was going on and he was very understanding of me quitting even without notice. Well I did everything on my end and made arrangements to go to and stay in Utah and and sent several messages and emails and made several phone calls the last couple of days and have had no response whatsoever. So now im without job at all. Not for long but either way its a burden. I kept the job I had until I could get something better because I have bills and family like anyone else. These guys are obviously a joke of a company and hopefully these reviews will help someone else. Wish I would have checked them out first but the jobs app I use ive always had good experiences with employers on it.
