My daughter went to school here for cosmetology and it was one of the worst experiences of her life and she didn't have a great time in elementary, junior high or high school. As a mother who went here all the time to try to help her out I saw things I could not believe. I was not treated well neither were my other five daughters who went to the school to help her by having their hair and nails done. We were treated badly by the teachers who made up rules. I even asked them to not reprimand my daughter in front of all the clients and all the students and they fought with me and asked me if I wanted to go outside!?!. It was ridiculous. My daughter would get in trouble for being late for not wearing the right color pants. If she was late 2 minutes they would fine her. This school is only out for money. They drug out a year-long program to almost 2 years just to get more money from her. They would lose her time clock times, they would lose information so that they would have to recharge her for classes she already took. And a lot of times the teachers would not show up for classes and the students were left to just do their own thing. She was very diligent in keeping track of everything or they would have taken tons of money from her. The teachers do not know what they are doing. When it comes to cuts and colors they are not educated enough. My daughter spent hours on TikTok and YouTube learning men's haircuts, layering and how to color. Much more time was spent at home learning than in the classrooms. They had her doing perms over and over and over. She was depressed and anxious everyday. Her mental health went down hill. It was hard for me as her mother to watch her. After a year and a half she transferred to American beauty and had such a completely opposite experience. Experienced teachers, kindness, no fees for strange things. No weird rules. As a family we had a little PTSD but after going to American beauty for a couple of months we all realized that it was a completely different environment. I cannot believe that the school stays open and that anyone would give it higher than two stars.

Building is okay, parking lot is a bit small but not too bad. Lots of great class options to enter the workforce without attending traditional university.

Staff and teachers in the hair school are total jerks and treat all of the girls/students poorly. Completely disrespectful to everyone including clients. Seriously hate this place. If you want your student coming back complaining everyday and saying how rude everyone is to them, this is the place for you.

I love every time that I got my hair there. This time was haircut. Instructor was really nice and students too! I love how they did my haircut. Every time I will be coming back to MTech Beauty Academy and recommend this place! 👌

I have a friend attending here, learning nail tech, and it's a good facility! I don't think Maps navigates there properly, but my friend coached me and I was able to find it. The staff and students seem to be very friendly. Even in tight quarters, they do a great job keeping it clean and sanitary. I would recommend coming as a volunteer for nail practice! I'm pretty certain my friend would recommend attending the school itself, as well.

Some instructors are very unprofessional, they talk too much about their personal lives and gossip about students. There is a lot of favoritism as well. Very unorganized program. Shelley is almost never available whenever we have a question or need something she is really hard to contact and half of the students don’t even know who she is.

I’m glad I got my Medical Assisting through Mtech! I only look back and remember how awful rude my Medical Assisting teacher’s assistant was. I remember asking to do a verbal pass off and asking her if she was willing to pass me off. She rudely said “No” and she often did say “no” to me asking her to pass things off. This slowed down my progress and inevitable extended my time with Mtech. Though this is a business and the goal is to get money, it absolutely bothers me that I PAID for a service that was poorly served. Though I had awesome friends and experiences, this thought bothers to this day. Overall, the knowledge gained is very helpful and prepares you for the workplace. I just hope that things have changed in terms of how things are done now.

If you're looking to get into medium/heavy duty truck or equipment mechanics, Nate and Jeff are the best teachers you could ask for. With Nate being closer to our age, and knowing just about everything you could ask him, and Jeff constantly pulling you aside to point something out or making sure you understand, it's an environment where you can have fun, but more importantly learn something. And with the additional focus we're having on ASE certifications this year, any adult could take this class, have some preparation, and pass the ASEs. They're focused on developing the skills you need for the field, and then getting you started in a career.
