Platinum Aviation is killing it with their rental options. I've been flying with them since April/May 2020 and have been very impressed with their maintenance, availability of their aircraft, and friendly staff like Dustin and Braden who have been great to work with. They've got me hooked!

The whole crew at Platinum Aviation is great. They all work well together and are truly supported by senior management which shows in their teaching. I was lucky enough to be placed with Ryan who extremely patient and had an amazing wealth of knowledge as well as a great sense of humor. Though I didn’t work with any of the other instructors I did see how they treated the students assigned to them and was extremely impressed. The management couldn’t stop praising their crew and said how lucky they were to have them. If you’re looking for flight training use them and only them. They are located in Spanish Fork and South Valley (West Jordan) so it’s convenient for all. Thanks again Ryan and crew; you guys are awesome!

I just did a discovery flight with Jake K and it was an absolutely incredible experience. I'm kicking around the idea of learning aviation, and to just get up into the air for an actual demo was mind blowing. Jake was super calm and reassuring, and I genuinely felt safe (albeit terrified) the whole time. 100% would recommend a discovery flight to anybody who is evenly mildly interested in aviation, and Jake is a great instructor to fly with!

It had been a number of years since I was able to fly last and was able to recently complete a flight review with Jaron at Platinum Aviation who made the experience very pleasant. All staff seemed cool and professional. The environment was clean - neat little flight school. Only flew the Aarow IV so can't comment on the condition for the rest of the fleet, but it was in good condition as expected.

Got checked out as a renter and will be returning frequently!

Super nice folks but 2 years ago I had rented a Katana DA20-C1 3 times within the span of a few days/weeks. I was excited because I was going to take my cousin out who also loves aviation. Unfortunately the first two times I rented the Katanas the oil temperature would peak out during taxi and even after take off it would remain high. It was early morning so nobody was ever there to help address the issue. The third time I tried to fly the prop wouldn't even turn over. I came up to a nice couple still by the hanger sitting in the open cockpit and asked about their flight... They hadn't even taken off yet and it was my time to fly the aircraft. I got it all prepped knowing I'd be running into the same issue and low and behold the prop failed to turn over. To say the least it was a very poor experience as a renter. Nice fellows there but apparently awful maintenance.
