Brittany was AMAZING! Such good company and so talented. She built these nails to perfection even with me being her first client!

My only complaint is that I wish that the students were supplied with higher quality tools.

Still so happy with my nails and will definitely coming back for my wedding nails!

first of all... it was my mistake to begin with for choosing to come here to dye my hair🫣 the girl who did my hair was so sweet and kind, BUT, she seemed hesitant to even do what i was asking (full head of highlights) and the instructor asked "are you sure you can do this?" from that point i should've said thank you but never mind and just left. i don't like being rude so i stayed and continued with the appointment. as she was bleaching my hair i noticed a decent chunk of hair burned off, the roots were choppy at best and not blended whatsoever and i was freaking out. all the girl said was im so sorry and the instructor said it would be fine if i spent more money for products to fix the damage the stylist had done. i definitely was not happy with the end results which took about 5.5 hours. again it was my fault for being trusting but if the stylist wasn't confident in doing the task then the honesty would've been much appreciated from the stylist and instructor and maybe i wouldn't have had a chunk of my hair in the front be fried off. definitely keep in mind these girls are learning. the instructors were definitely not very good at instructing as they were more focused on decorating the place for halloween. i contemplated even writing this review since this was in late october but i get upset and frustrated everyday trying to blend the fried chunk of hair so it's not too noticeable (it is very noticeably fried). i will not be going back ever again and proceed with caution when coming to a cosmetology school for any services.

Annie Haslam was the one at Avalon who provided me with services, on a couple different occasions.
She has always been professional and thorough! I love my hair! Her attention to detail is exemplary! She does such a great job, and I love my hair!!

I wish I had a good update, but I don’t. I’ve been seeing someone at the hair school for around 6 months and recently went to a licensed professional. I had to chop 6” off of my hair from it being so fried. I hate how short my hair is now and it’s infuriating that it’s gotten so unhealthy over just a few months. I bought all the products that were recommended by her and they didn’t make a difference at all.

Picture 2 is about 2 months after the last time I had my hair done by the student. The color never matched on both sides, I was told that the girls behind the counter may have mixed the wrong color, and never got a proper cut after I made the appointment for it. She bleached the life out of my hair. If I knew she didn’t know what she was doing, I would have went elsewhere. She left a 20 vol bleach on my hair for an absurd amount of time and she even had to have someone else help her apply the bleach because she didn’t think half my head would take her an hour.

Please go to a professional, don’t be cheap like me.

Elyse is a wonderful student, she is always so gentle with my hair and always listens to my concerns and asks the best questions to make sure I get what I want with my hair. She takes her time but yet efficient I will always be a regular with her for her spectacular work. We always have the most entertaining conversations, and I’m always so happy and confident with my hair when I leave the institute once it is done by Elyse.

Jillyan is amazing! She is so good at what she does, especially considering that she is still in school. I had full trust in her throughout the entire appointment, and I absolutely love the results! I would totally recommend her to anyone and everyone!

I wanted to get my hair lightened and more bright and Jillyan R knew exactly what to do! I don’t know hair terms or really didn’t know how to explain what I wanted but she absolutely understood and made it even better than I imagined. Great price and great service.

100% would recommend Keilana Peiler! She did an amazing job taking my hair that had black box dye and virtually no life , to a beautiful black that shifts to purple and red in the light. She was attentive to all of the little details , made sure I was comfortable every step of the way and did an amazing job styling my hair (which for my natural curly haired girls , you know that’s a plus after getting your hair done) The salons environment was very inviting and I couldn’t be happier with the way Keilana handled my hair !
