We tried Ed’s Bistro for Easter Brunch. The food was absolutely amazing. The Prime Black Angus Benedict was delicious. My husband had the Biscuits and Sausage Gravy with Cheddar Grits that was awesome. Ed was so nice visiting our table and making us feel welcome. Can’t wait to go back and try more of his food. The best gumbo I’ve ever had!

My colleagues and I were in La Porte, TX for work. We searched google for a local restaurant for a nice dinner and there were slim pickings. The reviews for Ed’s were pretty good so we decided to give it a try. SO glad we did! Our appetizers, main course and desserts are really delicious! Our server was very kind and Ed, the owner, even stopped by our table to prepare our dessert! As someone who is from Chicago, living in Dallas, I can vouch that the food at Ed’s is pretty comparable to restaurants in major cities. If I’m ever back in town for work I know exactly where to go for dinner!

Ed's is one of my favorite restaurants in the Houston area. All dishes are good, but pay attention to the specials. They're fantastic!

It's a small place with a small kitchen so service is not speedy, but it's done right.

The cocktails are on point and the wine list is impressive, with very fair prices. You can even buy bottles to go at a discounted price.

This restaurant is an absolute gem! The atmosphere is fantastic—inviting, warm, and perfect for any occasion. The wine selection is top-notch, offering something for everyone, and the food is nothing short of amazing. Each dish is chef-selected and we've never had a bad meal here. The staff is always friendly and attentive. We love that it's right in our town, off Main Street, and we recommend it to everyone. It's become our go-to spot, and we're thrilled they started serving brunch as well. Honestly, we choose this place over other renowned Houston restaurants every time. If you're looking for great food, great service, and a wonderful experience, this is the place to be!

Absolutely fantastic! Amazing service and the food is top notch. They have so many fun events like whisky and cigar tastings, wine tastings, and more. We went for breakfast and had the visits and gravy also the croissant sandwich. Everything was amazing. Can't wait to come back!

Mexi Cali Bloody Mary was delicious as was the Blue Crab Benedict. The Cheddar Grits were very good as well. I tasted my wife's Black Angus Benedict and it was tasty also.

Pretty cool little spot to eat overall. We will be back.

This quaint bistro in the heart of LaPorte is an absolute gem! We live in Friendswood and it is only a half hr drive. They are so welcoming and we always have lots of fun! Sit at the bar, a table, or outside on their patio. The food and wines are top notch. The owner will gladly help you with wine pairings if you need help. Everyone we bring there falls in love with it…you will too!

This place beyond met our expectations after not knowing what a “Bistro” was. The food was amazing, I had the soup of the week clam chowder and I had shrimp and grits! DELICIOUS. The restaurant is immaculate and cute(definitely a great place to have lunch with girlfriends) service was great! I can’t wait to go back and try the rest of the menu. They have happy hour 3-7 I believe and live music on Fridays. For it to be in Laporte that’s amazing!! Great job owners! We love it
