Completed my ATP practical at Sanders Aviation. Could not ask for a greater team of professionals. The atmosphere is relaxed and very “family” like. The instructors were friendly and knowledgeable and provided top-notch, quality instruction. It is evident from the minute you walk into the facility that safety is paramount. Would highly recommend Sanders for all of your aviation training needs. They have serval “bunk houses” you can rent if they are available. Unfortunately, they were full during my stay but I found an amazing little hideaway at Lakeshore Cabins and RV. They have several cabins and RV spots. Highly recommend a stay here as it’s waaayyyyy better and cheaper than a hotel.

USMC Naval Aviator who did CMEL, MEI, CFI, and CFII at Sanders. The training was quality, instructors were personable and knowledgeable, and the operation is extremely well run. I enjoyed flying the planes, and spending time with all the employees there. 100% will come back to get ATP. Thank you Sanders!

Would give 9 stars if I could. If you are looking to do your ATP, you have to go to Sanders. Since retiring from the Air Force, I have been floating around GA and have not come across anywhere at the same level with regards to professionalism and efficiency but still with the appropriate atmosphere for camaraderie and learning. Could write so much more. Bottom line: need your ATP? Believe it or not, you gotta make the trip to Jasper Alabama.

Sanders Aviation's ATP Practical Course is the best there is. They give you all the tools you need to succeed both in the airplane and out. If you are looking for a great place to train, with good consistency across MEIs, this is the place to come.

Great experience at Sanders Aviation! A well run program. I travelled from the west coast to do their course and it was worth every penny. The instructors are very knowledgeable and friendly and everyone there goes above and beyond to take care of every need you could think of. I would recommend Sanders 10/10!

The shower curtain in Phantom needs to move out 3-4 inches so it’s not against your body in the shower. Recommend getting covers (duvets) for the comforters. Easier to wash a duvet than stuffing the comforter in the wash machine.

The rooms were super clean and it’s the perfect place to study, prep and earn your next rating. Loved the full kitchen. Would be nice to have measuring cups and spoons for those who like to prep their own food. Phenomenal staff and instructors. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for first rate, immersive flight training experience.

When social time permits, would be awesome to have a grill pit with a pavilion or some covering for shade to grill and enjoy being outside on an airfield.
