Beautiful best kept secret. Campsite was just redone. Every site was paved and included picnic table and fire pit. There was also a pool area but unfortunately it was closed. Clean site/ bath houses, friendly staff and amazing views of the waterfall. Our stay included tickets to the park that offers petting zoo, botanical garden, and train ride. The hike was the best part! You can hike down to the waterfall and take it all in.

If you haven't gone yet, make it a pin on your map. 10/10, 5/5 100/100 whatever scale you use, it's everything you'd want. You can walk right under the waterfall! Use gorge trail, you get access to it from black creek trail or from the park entrance where the petting zoo and train are. Yeah, there's a train and the admissions are very reasonable.

We came in for the last day of Christmas at the Falls from North Ga. We enjoyed the beautiful lights and friendliness of the cashiers in both the gift areas. But we truly enjoyed the train ride that went around the entirety of the lights display. We got on fast and we're able to be seated close to each other(6 of us). 1... We wish the train would slow down for it did go a little too fast around. 2... Allow stops on the platforms, that would have been awesome.
I gave location a 3 because although the falls were beautiful at night, we purchased the combo tickets which includes train ride, lights display and ice skating. The ice skating was located downtown away from the park falls area. We did not get to use that part of our ticket because we spent most of our time within the lights. Several areas to take pics and take it all in. The lights were wonderful to experience. And don't forget the petting barn area... baby sloth, hedgehog, expecting goats and a squirrel monkey. The fish area was an entertaining educational area too.

Such a beautiful place, gorgeous lights this time of year and adorable animals! Perfect place to take someone on a date hoping it will go somewhere but you get so busy talking and laughing and just generally enjoying each other's company that you completely forget what you're there for and you never actually end up kissing her or officially asking her out or anything. Overall, a perfect place to fumble the bag πŸ˜žπŸ‘

This park is absolutely gorgeous. I stopped here on my way back from the Smoky Mountains, and it was worth it. The 90-foot waterfall is impressively powerful. The sheer amount of water coming from it is amazing. I can confidently say that this easy to get to waterfall is waaayyy better than Rainbow Falls in GSMNP. That trail was pretty hard with 1,500 feet of elevation gain. This one is really easy to get to and much more impressive. Next time I come, I’ll hike behind the waterfall. I highly recommend.

Went to Christmas at The Falls last night and had the best time! This was so well done with beautiful lights, plenty of food and drink vendors, gift vendors, etc. They have an area like a mini zoo with kangaroos and sloths, etc. that you can see. They also have a section with animals you can feed and pet. Pictures with Santa and The Grinch along with the train ride through the park was included in the price of admission (a very reasonable 15$ per person). We chatted with several people who worked there and all of them were very friendly and informative. Highly recommend and can’t wait until next year!!

Been going there for years.. just got the NEW camping area Open a few months ago. Looks great and has pull through and back in spots. Open cover picnic area, swimming pool, kid's play ground. Had to cut down the large trees so not many shady areas for campers. If you never got to go there y'all should check it out lots to do with kids. Lots of trails. The Christmas πŸŽ„πŸŽ lights a must...
Prices almost tripled but it's new.
