During our stay at this hospital the staff was very nice. Some of these floors need to be deeply cleaned. 7th Floor Orto floor nice. Get placed on the 4th floor . I couldn't believe my eyes how nasty . Not only that, mold was in the rooms I saw. I was offered for my 86 year old Aunt another room on the same floor because we asked to be moved they showed me another room just as nasty and also Mold. Yes, Mold was all in the room. A girl came in to so call clean the room. Was in there 10 minutes tops and said we'll. I will let them know I cleaned the room. Me and my sister looked at one another like what in the world. Not only did she not clean. She used the same rag for everything and then wiped the eating tray my aunt was supposed to use, and the room was horrible nasty. Not only that, hippa was broke in so many ways. My sister was going to walk around to see if the person we were waiting on to speak to about getting her off that floor was still coming. The nurse and the person over the cleaning of the room were talking about us in the hallway. Also, the nurse told him we were offered several options and refused . Which was untrue . He told her well that's all we could do and got on the elevator to leave, and my sister got on with him and got off on the floor to speak with him. That floor already heard and was talking about it. She spoke to him and told him the people you were talking about was her. His eyes got big. She asked sir if you could come look at this room, and he said he didn't need to. He knew how it looked, and he couldn't get approved for them to be cleaned properly. He did eventually come to the room and spoke to me. I showed him the room and mold all over the room. He said that's just dirt where the rooms are not clean. I asked him so you can 100 percent can tell me this is not Mold, he said No. I also asked if a health inspector came in, and they wouldn't find that to be mold. He said probably. The 4th floor needs to be shut down and throughly cleaned. If you have someone going there, please be aware of their surroundings of Mold.

I want to thank Riverview Medical Center for all the care and great service it gave me the last few days. I was in the ER Sunday and they got me back as soon as I got there and took very good care of me and were very informative on what was going on. Jeff in the ER was amazing as well. I had to go back yesterday morning to the ER for pain with my kidney stone and they were so good with me and got me back to relieved my pain. The doctor came in after my scans and told me I was going to have to have surgery to get it removed. Jeff was my nurse again which made the process very relaxing and understandable of what was going on. All the people in Day surgery were amazing and took very good care of me. The recovery room from what I could remember was very communicative and made sure I was comfortable after surgery. So thank you to all of you and we are extremely grateful to have a hospital like Riverview in our town.

12 day stay as kidney disease and new Dialysis patient. stayed on 5th floor Staff was great. friendly knowledgeable,compassionate, made my stay as comfortable and stress free as possible. encouraging me. even while taking Dialysis 4 hours a day. Staff was great eager to teach me about dialysis very personable and caring providing me with a lot of information on my disease and treatments that I will have to do for the rest of my life. everyone pushed positive attitudes actually enjoyed all the staff. My only disappointment was with Dietary getting my diet and restrictions correct. and the food not the best
meal times always late and food like warm at best

Riverview hospital has the most caring, kind, and hard-working, nurses and doctors and staff. I went in for neck surgery. I was very nervous. The nurses the anesthesiologist and my doctor (Dr. Smith) took the time to calm me down They talked to me again about the surgery. They told me everything I would need to know when I went home. I asked a lot of questions and everyone was so willing to answer them. They took the time to make sure I understood. I want to give a huge shout out to my amazing Nurse Bruce. He has a great personality, he was always there when I needed him, and he’s a very knowledgeable man about a lot of things. He took the time to answer all my questions many times over. So again I want to say a special thank you to Bruce, the other nurses and staff who was willing to come help me with my needs. They always had a smile on their face and tried to make me physically and mentally comfortable. Plus they reassured me I wasn’t any trouble; Call them anytime.

When I was sitting in the exam room this morning, waiting on Dr. Harper, I took a picture. I’m not sure why, except I was thinking what a spotless and well-run office he has and how fortunate his patients are to have his level of care in our small city. I am a longtime, second-generation patient and a forever advocate. Thank you, Riverview, for another positive experience! I didn’t know I would be asked for my thoughts, but perhaps that’s why I was prompted to take the picture…

My daughter had to have an MRI with contrast to bilateral shoulders, she was scared I would be too if I was only 15. The staff made her feel comfortable and they were so sweet to the both of us. Thank you RRMC for your kindness from the beginning to end .

During pre admission, Heather, Kerrie, and Barbara were amazing! They made the process so easy and I didn’t even feel Barbara take my blood. Every single person we encountered were so nice and helpful! Hoping surgery process is just as easy!

Everyone has been super nice and helpful and taken very good care of me while I've been a patient. All the doctors are very nice and the nurses. Doctor Michael Woods you did my surgery is super nice and took great care of me while I was in the hospital and during my surgery. He always takes time to listen and explains things so you can understand them.
