I am so thankful for the quality seminary education I received through Birmingham Theological Seminary. While I appreciated the fact that many of my professors were pastors or practitioners in their field, I was also very thankful for the flexibility and affordability BTS provided me as a young man seeking the Lord's guidance for my vocational path. This allowed me to gain quality seminary education while working, getting married and starting a family. The staff and faculty were terrific in supporting and guiding me along the way.

My experience as a seminary student at BTS was filled with a time of biblically based learning in a setting that enforced critical thinking for real world ministry settings. I found BTS through a Google search during a season in life when I was broken and seeking to know and understand the truth of God’s Word. BTS was attractive to me because it gave me the flexibility to take seminary courses while working as a business owner in the medical field. Now, four years into an MDiv in Public Theology, I cannot imagine studying anywhere else. BTS has been a place for me to learn and be discipled by people who feel like family. Now, my husband and I both get to have the flexibility to take classes and work in ministry while starting a family of our own. We are so grateful for the opportunities BTS has given us as we navigate seminary education with family and ministry life.
