It's amazing that a small town such as Yuma has such a great library system. Great job to all who have worked to have such a facility. The staff is always friendly and the selection is good. Nice place to bring kids . They have programs to encourage reading for both kids and adults . The children's section is good. Also they have programs for all ages and community rooms that can be used for meetings. A wealth of knowledge all in one place. A library card unlocks a world of possibilities. A safe friendly place to go... I just wish more people would realize that with that one small free plastic card you can concour the world. Parents bring your kids and show them the world a few one hour trips a month can change their future.

Excellent library! Year rounders NEED longer hours as it's our only Foothills Cooling location (112F today, hit 117F last week). The sun doesn't care about DOW!

Walked out the library again with a bad experience..
Personally, I love taking my kids to this library.
All staff there are very nice, there is one staff in particular that is VERY rude. This is the second time it has happened.
This library is a PUBLIC library and I do not think HE should be working there. The fact that he tells my TODDLER things in a very rude manner is not ok.
Before I left , I talked to the front desk staff that was there. I really hope they brought it up to a manager.
This is not acceptable.

This library has staff that are professional, personable, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.
I've been told that this library has continued to grow. Its community services includes "English as a Second Language" and "Spanish as a Second Language". The computer services are available for those who have a Yuma library card, which is available for residents for free as well as those who are visiting for a small fee. The front desk staff are more than willing to provide details.
Thanks again for a wonderful first-visit experience!

I love the plants here more than anything else honestly! They're so beautiful 😍. It's a nice library. The staff is pretty helpful,not too chatty but nice. Great parking with shade and bonus pokemon gym and spinny stops if you play PokemonGo. The new park is very much anticipated! I can hardly wait for it to be built. It would be nice if they had outside seating for the nice time of year. I'm pleased with the selection of books and holds shelf so easily accessible to pick up online orders. Overall it's a great library but nothing extravagant.

THIS IS A GREAT SMALLER LIBRARY IN THE FOOTHILLS AREA WITH THE BIG MAIN LIBRARY BEING DOWNTOWN. THEY HAVE A NICE LITTLE STORE HERE THAT SELLS BOOKS CD AND SUCH THAT THEY ARE RETIRING AND THEY PERIODICALLY HAVE BIG BOOK SALES. THEY ALSO HAVE NICE HANDOUTS AND RESOURCES FOR THOSE PEOPLE WHO ARE NEW TO YUMA OR ARE SNOWBIRDS. JOINING IS FREE AND IT'S EASY TO GET A LIBRARY CARD. THEY HAVE COMPUTERS AND A LARGE PLAYROOM FOR THE KIDS. YOU CAN READ NEWSPAPERS OR MAGAZINES IN ANOTHER SPOT AND SINCE THE LITTLE LOCAL PAPER IS $1 IN THE MACHINES IT'S NICE TO HAVE IT HERE TO READ FREE.
THEY HAVE NICE ART AND MUSIC EVENTS AND AUTHORS WHO VISIT. MY ONLY COMPLAINT IS THAT THEY DO NOT ENFORCE QUIETNESS LIKE THEY SHOULD. THE PLAYROOM HAS OPEN CEILINGS AND WALLS AND BETWEEN THE KIDS AND THE PEOPLE WHO TALK WHILE IN THE COMPUTER AREA, IT IS VERY DIFFICULT TO DO ANY WORK OR ANYTHING THAT REQUIRES CONCENTRATION ON THE COMPUTERS. THIS IS BAD BECAUSE SOME PEOPLE HAVE LEGAL PAPERS OR SCHOOLWORK OR RESUMES THAT THEY ARE TRYING TO DO AND PEOPLE ARE TOO NOISY AND NOT QUIET ENOUGH WHICH SHOULD BE A NO-BRAINER IN THE LIBRARY!!!
