If you're looking for an amazing, supportive, and teaching bjj gym, this is the place. My boyfriend has been coming to One Love for about 2 years now consistently. It is his passion. Issa and his classmates play a huge part in that. I have seen my boyfriend and others here compete in competitions and see One Love's overwhelming support for each other. They offer various classes and times that can fit into anyone's schedule for everybody. No one gets excluded.

I have trained all throughout the country at some of the most recognizable gyms under world champion black belts, and can 100% say that One Love is a top notch school. Issa is not only a fantastic and highly skilled competitive black belt, but a great instructor and teacher. He breaks down the techniques for everyone to understand, and truly cares about all of his students constantly improving. I came in as a seasoned brown belt, and the level of skill and training at the school is very high, while the vibe is relaxed and friendly. The first day I was there I knew it was where I wanted to train as everyone was super welcoming. They have a great selection of both gi and nogi classes as well. I highly recommend anyone checking out the gym from beginner white belt to experienced black belt.

He upholds the highest of standards of a true martial artist: While he is an absolute beast on the mats when it comes to skill, he is soft spoken, kind, and great teacher. Jiu-Jitsu offers many mental and physical health benefits. Coach Issa is a valuable influential mentor for my son. His efforts to support his abilities and push him to be his best is a true gift. It's a privilege to have him coach.

My kid from an early age always wanted to be a real life power ranger. I once asked him why and he said he wanted to protect himself and the world from stupid people.
When we heard about One Love Grappling Arts and the awesome programs they hold, we signed him up right away. My kid is now almost 10 and has been going to his gym since he was 3, four to five times a week weekly and also competes once a month. The instructor -Issa- not only is a highly trained black belt but he is also a role model to the community, a father, and he treats my kid as his own while making him one of the best 9yr old JJ fighters in Arizona and the surrounding states.

I’ve been going to One Love for a few months now. I’ve never done any martial arts and Issa and all the coaches have been patient, kind and positive all the way through my training. My kids also attend and I can say the same for them. They absolutely love it and the instructors are all excellent with the kids too. The gym as a whole does not promote ego and is a welcoming place to all. One love!

Traveling to the area for a wedding, and I did a drop in to the 5:30 Gi class. Everyone was very welcoming, and was excited to have me there with them.

I got a lot of really good rolls in, and got to see a lot of different looks and games that I’ve never seen/do see at my own Academy. So that was really awesome for me.

Everyone rolled very safe and very technical. All the guys I rolled with were just trying to get some good training in and have a good time.

Watch out for that brown belt and his worm guard lapel wizardry! That was a new one for me!

Overall, 10/10 and would recommend to anyone in town looking for a place to drop in, or anyone looking for a place to join and learn.
