I agree with the other reviews saying the lady needs to work on her customer service skills.
I have been there twice and got the same feeling both times.

First time I brought something without a box and she immediately said "well you don't have a box, so I can't help you" and started to walk away. I said 'hey, wait, do you not sell boxes here?'. She said "oh, yeah, I mean, we have this one but it costs money..."
The box costed like $1.50.
Then I said I needed to get the address from email on my phone and she jumped to "well the only way I could help you is if you had a QR code" and started walking away again. So again, I said wait, stop, I have a QR code right here.

This second time I walked in with a package I needed to send back and sat it down. A small envelope. As soon as I sat it down to open my phone for the address, she said "You need to make sure it's taped next time.".
I didn't even know I could re-use that envelope... and even if I did, she needs to hound people about tape? On a 6 inch envelope? The united states postal service is so broke that they can't afford to tape envelopes closed? Could you just charge a dollar for the tape that costs 3 cents? Does any other post office even think twice about it, much less reprimand paying customers over it? Isn't this a government agency, paid for by tax dollars? Does she get a bonus if she saves tape?

Hate to be that guy, but usually small town post offices are a pleasure to deal with, and there is no reason this one needs to be different.

The clerk that helped me was very kind and professional. Great personable attitude. Now, my mail delivery, on the other hand, is a completely different situation. He is very lazy and we don't always get our mail when we are supposed to. I will be outside waiting, and he will just drive by. I guess he doesn't feel like stopping, and he NEVER put my packages by my front door, always in front of my garage, even when it's raining, ugh! He puts that it was delivered to my front door every time.

Not surprised by the low rating this post office has. The local mail carrier was damaging my property after a neighbor installed a mailbox too far in their yard. The angle had them putting ruts in my yard so after a year of this I put some decorations in the ruts so it could not be driven through. Now they won’t deliver mail, they left a rude note demanding that I hire someone to fill the ruts they made with gravel. They are very unprofessional, childish, and petty. I would rather handle everything digitally and UPS, FEDEX than constantly have ruts in my yard.

I would rather go to Jonesboro location. Postal worker complained because I did not tape a shipping label on the box. She proceeded to say, “Do you normally come in here and not have the labeled taped? We don’t typically tape anything. I said I was never advised at any Postal Service in any state that I’ve lived in that I needed to tape anything. She then proceeded to say, “I’m sure they don’t say anything to customers because we don’t want to hear you complain.” I think the older woman should have been a little more professional and especially not be rude. If I knew, I would’ve taped my box without hearing her complain.

I will be going to the Jonesboro location before going back to the Brookland post office. The lady is rude and disrespectful with a very smart aleck attitude. Customer service is NOT her strong suit, but should be with this position. I never leave bad reviews on any business, nor do I complain, but I felt I needed to with this.

How can you say my packages my packages are out for delivery , Then check my emails to check the tracking , now you’re saying you can’t deliver it today , it’s going to be 8th 10th , you have one Job to do and more pathetic and the last time , this is another post office that seem to can’t get a job done more than once you have failed delivering packages you already have just more overpaid lazy government workers..

We would rather use this post office in Brookland than driving to Jonesboro. Big enough to get things done small enough to not have hassel.

It's a small town post office. People are nice, they are doing the best they can with their given resources.
