I can’t say enough great things about training at this Gracie Jiu Jitsu center. As someone in my 50s, I was looking for something that would keep me fit, sharp, and capable—and this place delivers! The street-ready format of the classes is incredibly practical and gives me real confidence in my ability to defend myself if ever needed. Instructor Paul brings an unmatched energy to every session—he’s motivating, knowledgeable, and knows how to push you without overwhelming you. The strike defense tactics we practice are realistic and effective, and beyond the self-defense benefits, my overall health, fitness, and mental clarity have improved dramatically. Paul, the owner is great. Takes time to make sure techniques are solid before moving on. Great adult class ranging from semi-experienced to brand new. Not a typical competition style BJJ gym. Definitely more focused on street fight defense.

My kids absolutely love Gracie jiu-Jitsu Jitsu Athens! They haven't stopped talking about it since they started and they can't wait to show their friends what they have learned. My middle son has ADHD and it helps him focus and get his energy out and my youngest has autism and loves to analyze everything about the techniques he learns. I also love that it is teaching my daughter how to defend herself and grow their confidence. Great investment! Can't wait to see you there!
