We visited Arthur and the farm in 1995 and spent the day listening to him talk about his ideas and were very inspired by him. We are so glad his farm has been rescued and my wife is now one of thousands of shareholders in the new community venture. There is an onsite butchers and farm shop plus a community venture enabling people with learning difficulties and other people with support needs to experience the rural lifestyle.

We visited this farm on our way to Chester, took a little walk, enjoyed a little drink and watched piggie mummies feasting in the troughs with their piglets. A most delightful stop. Made even more memorable by reading the history of the farm and the fighting spirit of the people behind its success.

Early lunch in the café as it was quiet, loved the soup. Food well presented & pleasant service. Walked Charlotte's farm trail and came back to the café for tea & cake. Finished off our visit with some purchases from the farm shop. Great way to spend a few hours.

We found the place really run down, the children's play area was in a bad state of repair with most of the play toys broken and dangerous to use. We did use the cafe which was overpriced, £10:50 for a breakfast which wasn't very good.

We had lunch in the cafe. The food was very tasty and we were able to sit outside. There was room inside too. Car park conveniently close but busy at lunchtime - it was the school holidays.
