I selected Oklahoma Aviation for my Instrument Rating because I was looking for G1000 experience with clean and well-maintained planes, but the biggest deciding factor for me were the instructors; they were all friendly and extremely knowledgeable. My primary instructor, Steven, was excellent; he pushed me to be a better pilot while also being a joy to fly with. His communication was great, and he did all he could to work around my schedule. Although it was expensive, I feel as if the value for the price was well met. I highly recommend OA for your flight training, especially Instrument; that’s one rating you don’t want to cut corners with.

I received my instrument rating with Oklahoma Aviation. They have a great, well maintained fleet of C-172s and SR20s, all G1000. They are also an approved testing center for written exams, making it very easy to get everything done. The instructors are awesome. My primary instructor, Christan, not only pushed me but also helped build my confidence as a pilot when I found myself flying the "struggle bus." More importantly, he was able to keep things fun while doing so! For the veterans looking to use your GI Bill for flight training, Oklahoma Aviation is the only flight school in OK that accepts it. Can't say enough good things about this flight school!

Very neat and friendly flight school that operates out of Atlantic Aviation FBO. Had the opportunity to fly with CFI Christian N who went above and beyond to help me with my training needs and scheduling. Highly recommend to anyone in the area needing quality flight or ground training.

If you are looking to pursue aviation as a career or if you have an interest in flying recreationally, then I highly recommend that you attend Oklahoma Aviation. They have a wonderful team of highly professional Flight Instructors that are extremely dedicated in making sure that you reach your goals. I attended Oklahoma Aviation in order to obtain my Multi Engine Commercial Certificate in the DA42 NG and I must say that everyone should get a chance to fly this airplane. The maintenance personnel were far beyond satisfaction, leaving absolutely no issues with the airplane during my training. I would also like to give credit to the amazing staff that handles the administrative side of the team, for they always seemed to make the students a priority with their urgency in taking care of any concerns, especially for Veterans using the GI-Bill. Thank you Oklahoma Aviation!

I had a great experience working with the team over at Oklahoma Aviation especially Christian. I am personally a CFI/CFII/MEI and came to get some instrument approaches in before I conducted an interview with DHS. Christian was very knowledgeable on IFR procedures and was great to work with. He even picked me up from OKC when I arrived and dropped me off at my hotel when we were finished. He really went above and beyond what I had expected.

I am happy to write this review as a recent graduate of their 141 instrument course. I was looking for specifically a Part 141 course in the OKC area, and can say now without a doubt I am glad I made that choice. This is a tight-run outfit, and I was impressed from day one. They did what they said they do - the airplanes are well maintained, the instructors are knowledgeable and flexible to my schedule.

Yes, you'll be expected to put in your work to progress. But the syllabus is written to help you as a nascent pilot - and is strictly adhered to. All I can say is, if you come motivated and ready to work for your ratings - the staff will push as fast as you want/are capable of.

Now that's not to say it wasn't expensive. But flight school in general is expensive. However, the school admin made me aware up front and was open and honest throughout. Invoicing was a breeze and exactly what I expected.

Great school. Can't wait to continue on with commercial ratings.

Christian Nollert was an excellent CFII. As a current CFII myself, I was happy to fly with someone as professional and knowledgeable as him. He did a phenomenal job familiarizing me with the local area and local procedures. I would highly recommend him and the school, which had an outstanding fleet with top of the line avionics.
