I can't say enough positive things about my experience with Briarcrest Nursing Home. They truly went above and beyond in taking care of my father and attending to all of his needs. The nurses at Briarcrest were not only highly skilled and professional, but they also displayed a remarkable level of thoughtfulness and compassion.

Ana the nursing supervisor was amazing . Always communicated and kept us informed . Richie case manager went above and beyond to make sure my fathers needs were met .
I was also impressed with the administrators specially Lisa. She was very helpful w understanding medial / insurance policies. Doctors Julia and Dr Chang on duty was on point w his medical care .Brad the director always checked on us made us feel like home.

This place is terrible, need to get my husband out of there ASAP, the person in the next bed keeps taking my husband's food and other things, I've asked for my husband to be moved to a different room, still waiting for that to happen. The pictures on the website are not what the place is really like.

I can say: staff is friendly and the food is good . The therapy is below average, they need more equipment and the therapist need better training. They can not think for themselves. If you have a grievance they refer you to their boss who is conveniently absent. I did not go to school for physical therapy, but I have been in sports and coaching for over 400 years. Don't get upset if I have a suggestion. Dr. Chung became upset because my daughter suggested I be given lacic for bloating. Dr Chung dismissed her suggestion by asking me : is your daughter a doctor? She doesn't have to be a doctor to care about her father! She did just graduate from UC Davis.

The nursing staff took wonderful care of my father, as did the physical therapist and occupational therapist. The entire staff is top notch.
My brother and I were there on a daily basis, the place is clean, friendly, caring and kind. Health and safety are a priority for staff, visitors and clients.

This nursing center does a lot for people. I had major brain surgery after a major accident back in June and since then I've been getting tossed around to different nursing homes based off my age. I have a history of Cancer and have been in hospitals my whole life and this place sets a better standard then most. I was at Country Villa West Wood in West LA and it was a nightmare A/C broke during a heat wave patients passing away of heat stroke and just chaos! But Thanks to Lisa And Josh in administration at Braircrest were able to get me away from that facility and help me. They have brought more hope & help in 6 days then Country Villa did in a 45 days. The Briarcrest Nursing Center has been a clean, friendly environment so fat and I see the staff work around the clock day and night to help patients needs and make things overall better during the short time I've been here. All the Staff have been pretty cool they treat people evenly and respectfully. I would not be so lucky if Lisa And Josh hadn't I will not be so fortunate if they did not step in and get me out of that hellish situation. I recommend bringing your loved one's here. I'm younger then most people here and this place is really shown me the age doesn't matter what matters is recovering and positive feedback from a Greatly balanced and organized hospital.

I have nothing but respect for this nursing center, they have been taking care of my father with so much care and they are very professional, they update me with my Dad’s progress and Doctor’s decisions always. Dad had been at a previous nursing home in Pomona and they are a total disgrace they almost cost my Dad’s life a few times. So this place is like a breath of fresh air! The place is very clean and everyone is very courteous, my brothers and I are very happy and blessed with this place, keep up the good work ♥️

I just want to give a big thanks to everyone at Briarcrest Nursing Center they where so helpful and supportive, the dedication of the wound care and physical therapy team is amazing. If you need something or just want to keep busy to speed up time the activity department is great they'll handle that I'm 25 wheelchair bound from a gunshot wound with 3 pressure sores, I was here for a month and a half and I don't have no complaints. They have family visits, a smoking area for certain patients, you can even get a pass to leave and go somewhere local if your physically able. Thanks Briarcrest and the Social Services team and admissions for being apart of my recovery.

Please do not blame the receptionist if your call isn't answered on time! BNC have a new receptionist. I think her name was Monica. At first, I was upset because my calls isn't answered when she transferred and paged my calls multiple times, I decided to visit the facility myself and see if she's doing the job. When I got there I was amazed by how much work she had to do just by herself all at once. She had to test people for Covid; making sure people who entered the facility isn't positive. She had to take the body temperature as well. She watches and stops the confused patients from getting out of the facility multiple times; making sure they're safe inside. By the way, she shouldn't be doing this because this is the CNA's job; but still she does because I can see how much she cares for everyone's safety, so it would be nice if the new administration does something about this issue just to decrease the stress for the receptionists who works there. Monica also makes sure everyone including the employees wears a N-95 mask. I also saw her cleaning and sanitizing her work area and the entrance door. I learned that her work isn't easy and it's stressful especially knowing that her salary isn't even making it better for her. I feel bad for her because most people gets mad at her when she's just following the new facility rules. BNC had a breakout before and they have a new rule of "one person per visit" which I would understand that it's heartbreaking when you just want to visit your family member, but it's not a reason for us visitors to blame and get upset with people like Monica because we have to understand that they're just doing their jobs and they don't make the rules. I hope you people learn to appreciate people like Monica.
